I'm 5'8" and lost 50 lbs a year ago and have kept it off. My diary is open. Good luck!

Starburst jelly beans I will eat until the point of a sugar headache and beyond. Experience has taught me nothing. Also: chips and peach salsa, guacamole, Fritos with Frito dip (cream cheese, ketchup, and Worcestshire sauce), Wheat Thins, Rosemary and Olive Oil Triscuits with sharp white cheddar... basically everything…

No. Tops of my personal vendetta lists are those who use the breakroom microwave to reheat fish. For the love of all that's holy, don't do it.

Don't forget 'starvation mode'!

Quality Sensory Analyst for a food manufacturing company. Basically I taste chemicals for a living. Still waiting for my glow powers to activate.

I may have snort-laffed at this.

I'm 5'8" and currently maintaining at 130 for about 9 months now, down from 180. My 'shape' can best be described as 'tree trunk' as my short torso means practically no waist. BF is around 22%. I wear anything from a US 4 to a US 8 though I did manage to zip up a size 2 skirt that my aunt gave me that I tried on out of…

Somewhere in the 8 - 12 lb range. So we'll say 10. Went from 180 to roughly 170ish my first month. Ate at 1660 calories with a 'lightly active' setting at 5'8" for a 1lb/week loss. I also worked out on my elliptical 30 min/day and tried to leave 250 - 300 calories 'on the table' at the end of the day.

I lost 50 lbs in a little over 6 months by setting my deficit at 1 lb/week loss, using my elliptical 5x a week and only eating back about half of the exercise calories. No slow downs, no stalls...it was like magic! Granted, a really really really extended magic trick but still. ETA: went from 180 to 130 in this time frame.

I've seen a couple of new faces at my gym but I work 9:30 to 6 so when I go at 1:30, the place is darn near empty (after the lunch rush, before the evening crush). We do have a large senior contingent though. They are adorable.

Heh, had to give some to my constipated son once a couple of years ago. Any time I have to give him medicine now he asks if it's the 'oil stuff.' #neverforget

Arnold sandwich round with 43 grams Oscar Mayer rotisserie chicken breast, 19 grams Sargento Provolone cheese, 11 grams Philadelphia whipped cream cheese spread and 34 grams sliced tomato. With that 1 packet of Crystal light energy grape flavor in 1 qt water, 128 grams baby carrots and 33 grams Rold Gold dark dipped…

5'8" 130 lbs 35-29-36 I'm weirdly proportioned so 6-8 in pants (but have to find longs). I have freakishly long arms, am high waisted, and have no boobs to speak of so that darling combination means that while I can wear a small top, I loathe things binding under my arms so end up in a baggy medium.

For us (kids aged 9 and 6) it will most likely be roller skating and laser tag. Their cousins are close by so turning them loose in my sister's large basement is also a viable option for us  We generally have dance parties, either using the Just Dance for the Wii or through my playlist. Don't usually get snow in…

Uncle Eddie would be right at home here.

My personal trainer included 2 sets of 3 minutes of hula hooping in my workout program this month; she said it's a good core/abdominal workout. The trouble I have is that the bottom of my rib cage is verrry close to my hip bones so there's a good deal of bruising going on.

I take one just to fill in the gaps as I rarely hit my RDAs otherwise.

I'm 41 and have lost 54 pounds to date. I'm 5'8" and last summer I started at over 180 lbs and was miserable in my own skin. When I caught myself looking for large, stretchy style, that was it for me. It was probably more but the scale that I stepped on at the end of last September read 180 so that was my SW I used. I was…

5'8" and 128 lbs. U.S. Mediums would fit me best but my freakishly long arms require larges. Depending on the brand I wear anywhere from a US 4 to an 8 and after birthing 2 9+ pound kids, I'm in awe of myself for getting here. In maintenance now and focusing on lifting. Loving my arms now which at 41 is kinda backward but…

Sure is, I did it with a starting calorie goal of 1660ish for 1 lb a week. Of course, I tried to leave 500 on the table every day but realistically was more like 300. I ate back about half to 3/4 of my exercise calories. Went from 180 at the end of September to 130 by mid-April of this year so 6.5 months. And that included…

Yes. Down 54 lbs since the end of September and holding steady since early June so it's time to take the leap of faith and switch to maintenance. Accomplished it by CICO (okay, and loading up on cardio so I could have more CI :D .)

Gorgeous! Awesome color and lines!

Fantastic! Way to go!!

Yup. This.

I'm 5'8" and 126, but wear anything from a US 4 to 8, depending on brand. I will never get to a smaller size than a 4 no matter my weight because I have stupid short torso, no waist to speak of and 'child bearing' hips. I hear burlap sacks are primed for a comeback.
-
My current daily allotment is 1530 and once it gets to 1500 I'm switching to maintenance because no.

Oookay, that was supposed to be a 'B', not smiley sunglasses. Oh emoticons, you so crazy.
