I'm also in the process of my "I'm doing it this time", been at it for two months as of today, I'm down 27lbs. Once you educate yourself with what happens to your body when the scale goes up or down has done wonders for me. I can be up 10lbs one day, (which is more than enough to deter and unmotivated most people) but…

Go with the Burrito, my guess, 600-900 calories (if you have that many calories left). Sour cream, cheese, avocado, sauce, that probably alone will make up half the calories. Enjoy it, and don't worry about the weight fluctuation tomorrow, it will be water weight.

Anything moderately healthy at a restaurant I usually estimate at around 700-1000 calries, obviously depending on what it is. That's just my gage for planning out meals during the day and what I aim to have left at for dinner. Had Mexican 2 weekends ago, chose the biggest burrito off the menu, I made sure I had lots of…

You are like me! Once I feel comfortable again and people start saying oh wow good job! that's when you are more likely to gain weight back, because you've lost the drive that made you begin. Be very strict with yourself and follow your own goals, your own benchmarks, not others.

For me, the hardest part is letting family understand that even though they accommodate a healthy cooked meal for me when they invite me over, they still don't understand that I need to weigh and consume a certain amount of calories, and its tough to say no to family when they invite you over 3 days a week.

Had only eaten 800 calories yesterday by the time I got ready for bed, quickly grabbed a protein shake, peanut butter and crackers, ate that right at 9:30pm. It was more important to get the calories in than to not eat. Not matter the time.

Yea I hear ya, don't get me wrong, I do stand still for a week+ sometimes, but drop like 3-6 the next week. I seem to go through this pattern that usually last a week of my weight literally not budging up or down, but the key is to be PERSISTANT and to PERSEVERE through it all. This morning I woke up to over 3lb loss.. I…

Well 26lbs in little bit less than 2 months, not a month lol. on the 11th will be 2 months. Cutting Calories, been eating fairly strict. Sort of the same meal every day. I do ICF 5x5 3 days a week at 5am, and on non lifting days I do Cardio, 3.5mph @ 13 incline for a hour. I also make sure I get 10k steps daily on my…

Hey, I'm 6.5 weeks in, I'm down 26lbs. I'm hoping to hit 30lbs+ down by April 11 (2 month mark) I log daily, and weigh everything. I'm also looking for more motivated people to keep the fire burning.

I've always said "Don't force it" I'm down 26lbs and still wear the same shirts/pants as I did when I was 26lbs heavier. I will however buy new and or wear old skinny clothes once I get to half my goal, only then will I wear sizes I can definitely fit right now. It's all a mental thing for me. If I'm wearing clothes that…

You are also maybe at a point where you can look into "body recomposition" probably.

I log daily! Also looking for friends.

That's awesome! I'm currently down 26lb in 6.5 weeks, April 11th will be the 2 months mark. So I could potentially be at 30lbs down in 2 months. I'm hoping to do 50lbs in 5 months like you though! I do a ICF 5x5 3 days a week, and 1hour cardio 2 a week. And I also make sure I get 10k steps on my Fitbit. I eat about…

You know, how about you do what you want to do. If you want to try it, do it! They key is to find something sustainable, if you find egg fasting on weekends is working for you and your goals, then do it.

You have bigger problems than just weight loss!
-
Hey Lindie, this is very unusual, I only experienced the issues you're having today for a little bit, I just walked away and came to it later and it was fine. I'm sure they've fixed the issue.
-
Awesome! That's impressive! What kind of activities did you supplement with a healthy diet?

Same here! Ill add ya. Have a look at my log for last week.

I buy ground turkey, ground beef, bags of chicken fillets, and sole. I separate it into 1 meal portions before I freeze it. I cook either a few days worth at once, or I cook the next days lunch while cooking dinner. I steam broccoli and keep enough in the fridge for few days, and I also make like 6 cups of rice and keep in…

I'm at 1000+ calories by the time I get to work on workout days. Check my log (yesterday). And that's just my protein bar at 5am, shake intra work-out, and over night oats before leaving for work.

What does he like to do? Is there anything he used to love to do like a hobby or something that he hasn't done in a long time because life gets in the way? we tend to have a routine day in day out because of work. And breaking that routine especially with something he loves to do would be a great gesture. Would be my…

Awesome! I'm hoping for same results as you, lose weight and gain muscle! I've been doing straight fasted cardio at 5am 6 days a week the last 5 weeks, this week I have switched to 5x5 3 day a week program and doing the cardio 2-3 times a week. And I eat pretty much the same things Monday to Friday and switch it up a…

Wow that's awesome!! How long did it take you to lose the weight? What kind of a training program were you on?
