My stitches \were very small--and I was lucky so was my main cut---maybe an inch long. The staples I had were inside only.

I was allowed to keep track of my food intake at whatever site I wanted. Also my pre-surgery diet consisted of 3 protein shakes, 2 protein bars and a healthy meal for dinner. We have to snack after surgery so I find it odd that you NUT says no snacking! And milk???? YUCK!

I can relate--I was in a panic when my stall went on for weeks. Then all of a sudden the scale moved! Your body is adjusting and you are losing inches too! Hang in there.

2BeHappy 2--the GNC closest to me was sold out too---I found them at the GNC in the mall. I was headed up to that area --otherwise I would not have driven 45 min and had to go to the mall for them ( I hate the mall)

I boil the caf. free diet pepsi to get the fizz out---I read about some runners that do that because they get bloated from the carbonation--I have plenty of other things here to drink--but find it hard to get 64 oz in---my NUT and Dr feel as long as it is diet not full of calories---it does not have to be water. I tried the Quest protein chips today (GNC had a sale buy 3 get 1 free) I had the sour cream They were good for the crunch factor ( I crave crunch) and great for the protein 21 protein 120 calories per bag. They were not as good as the old fat filled chips --before surgery but they did satisfy the munchies for me and gave…

They are a bit expensive--$2.84 a bag--I bought three and got the 4th free. It is not an item i would eat everyday but I like having something healthy with high protein around for when I need something to cure the munchies. Online --they are priced cheaper.

According to my NUT--eat the protein 1st--if you are full "STOP" (you could up the protein portion) and not eat the veggies or eat the protein and veggies--but skip the starch
