OP, if you have a binging issue, then diet pills (even if they work), aren't a viable solution for your long-term weight loss goals, as you can't rely on them to "keep you on track" your whole life. Do try to work on getting proper nutrition that fits your daily calorie intake, create a healthy relationship with food, and…

Totally snickering at that.

My friends and I often have a LOTR trilogy extended version marathon, so that we can enjoy each other's company that much longer. With the final instalment of The Hobbit coming out this year, we're planning to do a LOTR + The Hobbit extended version (yes, of all 6 movies) marathon next year. Good movies, good friends and…

OP, what are these health issues you speak of? Also, if you need to cut back on sugar consumption because of health reasons, then decide for yourself. Continue to eat sugar in excess and worsen your prevailing conditions, or make a change, and reduce consumption through whatever means work best for you, be it complete…

I love how you have such beautiful smiles in both pictures, austinsneeze!

Thank you for creating a thread that didn't contribute to MFP bingo this week. What a great story! I'm hoping to try something similar, but I'll use Kinder Bueno instead. :)

Kindly elucidate your reasoning for this polemical thread, _DrMerc_, lest people start labelling you a Svengali.

I was brought up to not tell lies, and I'm not a rebel, so I do apologise, and I know it's hard to accept, but you are hella attractive.

I personally wouldn't worry too much, because my weight fluctuates anywhere between 3-6 pounds daily, and the fluctuations don't increase/decrease with my periods. I don't notice increased water retention during my period either.

* Double chicken pitta: 460 calories * Garden salad: 10 calories * Corn on the cob: 101 calories Total: 571 calories You can leave over 200 calories for a drink after :)

How many calories would "fit" into your intake for your meal in Nando's?

I like Subway, because it makes its competitors' offerings seem even better, just by existing with its Subpar quality.

Whoa. This thread took a turn for the better. Didn't think I'd find out so much about tornadoes. Much better than eating trash... Wait. Have we determined what trash is?

You may want to increase your fat intake. http://modernhealthmonk.com/low-fiber-diet/ This article helped me a lot, when I reduced my calories, at the beginning of my weight loss journey. I didn't know why I was so constipated, despite eating oatmeal, fruits and vegetables daily. So I tried to rectify the issue by…

Skim through the forums here. Starvation mode is a myth, so it doesn't matter what time of day you ingest your calories. You could fit your calories within 6 small meals a day, or everything within a 10-minute feeding period after fasting all day, and you will still lose weight, so long as a deficit is formed.

Click on the "Food" tab, then "Settings", and you can tweak your nutrients tracked to include fibre. I've done that to track fibre, rather than sugar.

You can lose weight in a 2-hour feasting window, or whatever timeframe you've set, so long as you create a calorie deficit. If you've gone over your daily calorie intake with your meal of ice cream, chips, pasta, et cetera, then no matter what eating/diet plan you choose, you won't lose weight. Intermittent fasting by…

Not an expert, but this theory of "food combining" to aid digestion sounds like a whole lot of tosh to me. Also, my first thought when I saw this image was, IS THAT A GIANT METALLIC PAW PRINT?

My weight fluctuates throughout the day, based on several factors, not just sodium intake. I can "gain" anything from 3-6 pounds daily. Sodium will affect every individual differently. If water retention is causing you to not see a change on the scale, drink more water and you should see the numbers move in a couple of…

So long as you're not offending anyone, and you're proud of how you look & want to capture it in a picture, I say go for it!

Unless you owe someone a living, people have no right to comment on your lifestyle choices. Do what you're comfortable with, and what you think works best for you. I can empathise, because my family thinks I'm nuts for weighing my food, whenever I can. It's difficult to ignore, but it's also easy to remind myself that…

* I usually mash my ice cream until it becomes "soup". I don't know why I enjoy ice cream best this way. * I also cannot stand the cream part of the Oreo biscuit, so I scrape off as much as I can, before I deem it suitable for consumption, i.e. the biscuits cannot have even a smidgen of white on them. * I hate the…
