After a month in Europe with my dad, I'm finally back on MFP! And the best things I ate, despite going to oodles of countries, all actually came from France. The best waffles in the world. With amazing vanilla bean paste. From Meert in Lille. I scarfed six of this down in under five minutes. No joke. Best macarons on the…

Instant oatmeal has a higer GI than rolled oats or steel cut oats, and this may cause sugar spikes. Perhaps, you may want to try less-processed forms of oats instead? They may also keep you feeling fuller for longer. They do take longer to prepare, but you can make them overnight, and allow them to infuse with other…

Hit your fat and protein macros, that may assist with satiety. Drink sufficient water. And don't create too huge of a calorie deficit.

That may be reactive hypoglycaemia. A carb-heavy meal could also have that effect. It may be beneficial to get your blood glucose levels checked.

I've lost 68 pounds by practising intermittent fasting, and eating a large meal each day. Like the others have said. Weight loss is about CICO.

If weight loss is your sole goal, do whatever it takes to create a calorie deficit, whether that means allowing a cheat day or not. I personally feel that you'd fare better in the long run by working whatever foods you love into your daily calorie intake. If you categorise some foods as cheat foods and restrict your…

I'm really curious as to what a 90% sugar-free diet comprises of. No milk, honey, fruits, vegetables, grains, tubers, etc?

Ah. Sorry I got the quoting thing all messed up.

I've been doing IF for the past 4 months. I do a 23:1. Yeah. I eat all my calories in 1 hour. Then again, I'm pretty small, so fitting all my calories in isn't a chore. :)

Such cute cookies! On an equally cute plate.

"Weight loss" tablets don't work. If they did, there'd be no overweight people. The only thing you'll lose, will be hard-earned money. Calories in < calories out = weight loss.

What's your height, and current weight? And daily/weekly activity level. Also, what are your goals? Just weight loss, toning, strength, etc?

Good to know, especially since you're contributing to a bigger supply of them for me. :) They're my favourite type of Kit Kat to consume, so to each his own!

A calorie deficit, regardless of the types of food you choose to consume, assuming you have no underlying medical/health conditions.

I don't think it's uncalled for. He's got a valid point, because the title of the thread IS Subway Sandwich CALORIES after all. Also, making a generic statement like claiming Subway's foods are high in salt doesn't help anyone, because the amount of salt wasn't even listed, and "high" is relative.

x3 Also, why so much hate for green tea Kit Kats? :'(

That bread looks amazing!

What are your underlying heath conditions, OP? If they don't require you to eliminate sugar from your diet, I'm not sure what additional health benefits you can possibly achieve by cutting out sugar completely. Sugar is not evil, toxic, or detrimental, if consumed in moderation.

Do try to bump up your fat intake, as much as your calorie deficit will allow. Avocados, eggs, fatty fish, peanut butter, poultry with skin, et cetera. These contain oils and fats that can benefit you. And too much fibre can also cause constipation. I've generally experienced better relief with soluble fibre as opposed to…

For over 3 years, I drank 2 tablespoons of unfiltered ACV in a glass of water each day, and it did not:* Aid in digestion * Help with skin conditions and acne * "Cleanse" from the inside, nor did it aid my liver in any way It did:* Gradually rot away the enamel of my teeth, even when sipping through a straw * Cause acid…
