I hear you! Not that I or my husband like gaming, but feeling too heavy, not being capable to buy neat clothes, not paying attention to what I eat and starting to swim again, which I also have to do from square one because of a back injury. Good luck with your journey, may it be a happy one! :)

I started swimming again after 10 years not being in or near a pool, so I feel your happiness. It feels so good to be in the water :) Awesome!

I have been away for a few months, because of all kinds of circumstances, but I am ready to get back in action and I could use a few new friends, since I lost almost all the old :)

Yes and no. For me the kitchen is closed between 6 PM and 8 AM, but for my hub it's open all night long. he doesn't eat breakfast and starts eating somewhere in the afternoon.

My problems are hyperlordosis, I got a bend in the neck area and lower back, fibromyalgia and I should let myself being checked for psoriasis arthritis.

I got an autoimmune disease and am not allowed to eat anything processed, the only 'sugar' I get is from that bit of fruit I eat, called fructose, but sugar like refined sugar I don't eat, no! But it looks to me people are very quickly with their prejudices, without knowing a person's story.
-
Eh? Since when is someone else capable to tell me what I like or not? Have we ever met? I am sugar free for years already, in fact I never had a sweet tooth. and to NDJ: it looks to me more like we sugar free people are demonized. Let people decide for themselves what they want and respect that!
-
Maybe, maybe not, but some of us just don't want to eat sugar and I don't see a problem with that. After all dieting (lifestyle) is a personal thing, so why eating something we don't like to, just because it fits in the calorie counting or most of the others do? I don't eat sugar, I don't like sugar and I am happy with…

I am practically 99% sugar free and I never miss it. It took me a while to get used to it, but now candy is just too sweet for me and makes me feel ill.

Not 50 yet, but it's coming closer. Feel free to add me if you want. I am a very active 46 year old.

Totally this!

I must say I have posted here before and ran into some wonderful people, but what I don't understand is when I say I am looking for friends I get requests from people who got well over 200 people in their friends list already and don't say a word, you're just another number. That kind of 'friends' I am NOT looking for.

Like Chris Kresser said it so nicely: When it comes to diet, there is no one-size-fits-all approach! If you feel good with it, then why not! Some do fantastically well with low carb diets, others with vegetarian, etc... There is a reason why there are so many different diets out there, because there are also so many…

That sounds more like paranoia to me than social phobia. Do you fear being among other people as well? As a total social phobe myself I avoid people like the plague, don't like to interact with them IRL and live practically like a hermit. I agree with the others: try if you can see a counselor, if possible!

Looking at what she has achieved, most def. a superhero! :) Was for Veselina. Donny looks more like a villain :-p
-
Totally this! You are only freaking yourself out and stress most def. will not lead to weight loss! Don't be your own worst enemy. When you log daily and do your exercise it all is going to be fine!
-
I must say the opposite happened. I am about the same weight again like 8 years ago, which unfortunately means I gained, but I am much smaller. Back then it was about size XL to XXL, now I still have size L. Guess not all the weight I gained this time is fat.

More a character instead of a real celeb, Jan Valek, John Carpenter's Vampires. Movie was so so, but darn that vampire! :)

Well stubborn by nature I surely am, will I got as well, giving up doesn't belong in my dictionary, but I fear patience neither :)

Piece of cookie :)

I posted here before and received new friends, which is cool, but almost all men. It would be nice to have some lady friends as well, for the lady things in life and dieting :)
-
Sorry, not on my menu, neither of them ;)

As long as he doesn't bother me I can't be bothered :)

Bring it on babe! B)

Probably, but just know there is no 'one solution fits all' diet. What works fantastic for someone else, may not work for you at all. If you have been documenting yourself for that long, then most likely you know very well what is best for you. Your body is the best adviser you got!

Why are there so many people who just can't respect others for their choices? If she wants to ditch the sugar that is up to her to decide! Why the yeah but, no buts? And yes in most processed foods is sugar added, even in meat!

It took me a while. I remember with the first attempt I was digging in the fridge in the middle of the night on day 3, because I just NEED something sweet right there and then! That was several years ago, now I don't like sweet anymore. A milk chocolate bar makes me feels like my cheeks are pulled together and I get…
