I am 148 pounds (high end of BMI) which is my goal and I am very happy, healthy and strong. I used to be 114 pounds (which is still in my BMI range) and maintained that size for years with severe body dysmorphia. I now have a fear of getting "too skinny," partly because of my previous body dysmorphia and looking back, I…

" I will say this if you are to hungry after trying the 1200 cals a day I would up it to 1400 calories. You would be shocked how a 200 calories increase will make you feel. " ^^^^^ THIS ^^^^

I am set at 1240 and it definitely is hard, but not impossible! Because of a desk job, my activity is sedentary, so I eat back my workout calories. I aim to burn at least 200 cals throughout the day and have a 1400 calorie diet. I find that eating less processed food and mainly lean meats, fruits and veggies is what keeps…

Blogilates.com has a "quiet" workout video for people who live in apartments. I think it's actually called Quiet Cardio or something along those lines. I agree with the other posters, though, ask your neighbors for an hour. If you were my neighbor, I'd be happy to give it you!

MFP calculates your daily calories you need to eat to not lose weight and maintain. I think it's under Your Profile. That's the amount you want to stay under to not gain. For example, I have a sedentary job, so my maintenance calories are at 1730 and 1240 to lose. I maintained a 38 pound loss for a year by averaging 1730 a…

I agree with the other posters: A battered Cod fillet - 300Kcal 200g of Chips - 300Kcal These two items alone are not as low as you've estimated. 300Kcal of Chips is only about 75 grams on average.

I was just thinking of this yesterday :-) Thanks for the post! Just for today I will celebrate progress.
