I am using the 5:2 diet and need different calories two days a week so I bought in. Just for the convenience of having my Mondays and Thursdays calories to 600.

Well most experts say not to drink alcohol on your diet or drink very little. I budget in a few (Light) beers everyday and still lose weight. My opinion is calories are calories but that's just me.
