If you are craving a Cinnabon, this is a good alternative. I really liked this one.

Best protein pancakes so far. Well Kodiak chocolate cakes are up there too. These are thin and cook up well. Not gritty either.

@SideSteel I agree with all you said and I think coaching is great. But I would like to point out with Avatar you do get feedback and can reach out to Mark and Layne for help with nutrition. The website has so much good information about nutrition basics, recipes, videos and articles. As far as motivational help goes, I…

That is all i do are full body routines with compound lifts and accessories 3 times a week. Of course I throw a Bro day in for the 4th. It works. Many have said a whole lot here so I dont have much to add then personal experience. Most important is being consistent and tracking. You want to progress with your lifts on any…

I think a lot can be said for the diversity of training in this thread. One aspect that gets overlooked is what is best for you personally. But one most important ascpect is consistency. Whatever programs you pick stick to them.

I'm 44. Great program that is simple. Still use with added volume and accessories. I recently saw a Christopher Reeves interview on how he got in shape for Superman. He started training and was not getting anywhere. Then he switched trainers and they started a 5x5 basically. He saw huge gains etc. His new trainer was Darth…

I would consider replacing a lot of the 220 grams of protein with carbs. Being around 153 grams of protein is fine for bulking. The carbs will help fuel the workouts. The excess protein will just turn to carbs. And protein is more expensive then carbs. Save your money. And enjoy the extra food. Stick to a good lifting…

40-50 grams of protein, 8-10 grams of fat and about 75 grams of carbs post workout works best for me. Those numbers are probably the best for a post workout. Get that meal within a couple of hours at least. As far as the food, It varies for me. I like variety. Sometimes it's protein powder, milk and lucky charms. Other…

What's your age and are you new to weightlifting? I do think that's way too much protein.

I find using a rowing machine in my gym for 5-10 mins is a good warm up. Maybe use the Olympic bar for some warm up? I stretch for about 5-10 mins using the bar on the rack. And I don't use them but resistance bands are good and easy to bring into the gym. Just wrap them around the bar and stretch.

Keep doing what you are doing. Measure liquids and weigh solids. 4 weeks ago was still the holidays and you mentioned you stayed the same weight during the holidays. So try to look back and see how well you really kept to the goals. Maybe give it another 2 weeks before you change. Great job on losing 21lbs!

New ice cream made. Chocolate Angel Kiss. I used sugar free chocolate pudding, condensed milk, 1% milk and 2 servings of unflavored whey isolate. Added cut up pieces of the Dutch treat Angel Kisses at the end. The result was outstanding. Angel kisses are basically marshmallow fluff covered in chocolate and they worked…
