I'm hoping to build to that haha. I've been running consistently for awhile. Right now I'm doing three days a week of T25 and doubling up on Fridays T25. After I get my body used to doing body (hopefully a couple of weeks) I plan on doing what you did. Thanks!

Moving right along toward my goal!!

I definitely followed the schedule. If you have problems with W5D3, you can always repeated it or go back then. That's understandable but I'd attempt to do it how it's laid out.

I thought I explained it but maybe I wasn't clear. if I can't determine the distance and speed I was running, I couldn't figure out an accurate calorie burn. Thanks though. I wanted a recommendation that wasn't using GPS to calculate distance because it's unreliable so I was looking for recommendations like specific brands…

Obviously without hearing both sides, I'd say you do what you have to do. Paying 95 bucks for a marathon is only slightly more than most video games nowadays so it's definitely selfish or controlling to tell you how to spend your money. I'd go without him. Why risk losing your "running high" by seeing him at the finish…

anything else?

Cool thanks. Never heard of those.

Good points. I end up having Christmas get togethers on the 24th, 25th, 28th and then another one on the 31st haha so I'm going to be running a lot for sure. I'm just going to limit myself the best way I can.

i eat 2 hardboiled eggs every morning. that's it. :)

Weekends probably give you more access to time to snack at home. I just try to run a lot in the morning and that energy helps me fight cravings but yeah, it's harder for me on the weekends but you can do it!

I'm going to run about 5 miles Thanksgiving morning and then eat a feast fit for a king on Thanksgiving. Then the next day, I'm gonna get up early and go running again and get back on task. I'm a bit of a Christmas cookie ho haha so I'm going to work them into my diet but in moderation. Between Thanksgiving and Christmas…

I am 215 at the moment. I'd like to be less than 209 by the end of the month.

At my highest a couple of years ago I was about 240. I then realized my life consisted of no exercise, eating WAYY too much food and being lazy. I got back down as far as 207 before I hurt my foot really bad and was in a walking boot for several months. then I had a compressed nerve. Anyways, after getting my foot back…

When you fall off the boat, don't stay in the water lamenting that you did, climb back aboard. The first step is acknowledging you messed up. Now start over counting calories. Anybody can get in shape as long as their health is their top priority! You will be back in no time.

Awesome man!

Another decent day! I prefer morning runs but during the week, night time runs will just have to do.
-
great plan. I'm not going for 20 miles but I do plan on running about 5 miles on Thanksgiving morning. Good luck. After my 5 miles, I'm climbing up on some turkey, dressing, etc haha

I drive to small local races all the time without the family because after trying to get our 4 and 6 yr old ready, I'm worn out haha. But yes it's nice to have people cheering you but to me at this point, I'm mainly running for my own approval. But rest assured, some people will be cheering. Just imagine it's for you. :)

me too!

Great job man. You are where I was a few years ago. You can do it!

I've drank, maybe, one beer in the past 3 months. Like you say, I just would rather be healthier so I cut it out. But I'm sure having a week off and staying with the in laws will make drinking a lot more appealing lol

Don't really know anybody in here so not sure if I'm cool but I am 40 so... here I go haha. Friday, took the kids Trick or Treating. Was amazed at how many people could push a stroller while smoking. Pretty impressive... lol Ran 3 miles Saturday felt achy. Woke up Sunday decided to run 3 more. Felt great. No idea why it…

I dig Thanksgiving. I have no problem working that glorious meal off. The biggest problem is my father in law has a full bar in his "man cave" 4 beers on tap. Oh man. I better start running more. SMH

I remember a couple of years ago when I was doing C25K and the week ( I want to say it was week 5 sometimes) you all of a sudden jump to "Run 20 minutes" I was WTH lady. But I got through it and I was pretty happy that day. I've ran about 20 5Ks, five 10Ks, and 3 10 Milers since then. Keep it up.

After being in my walking boot for 4 months, my weight shot up to 227. Not the boot's fault that I stopped counting calories for that time period, of course. haha. Anyways, now I'm back on the good path now and I'm down 11 pounds in the past couple of weeks. My goal is to make it through Thanksgiving and Christmas and be…

ahh the internet and a lack of hyperbole appreciation. lol

I have a 5 mile run scheduled for Thanksgiving and the day after because I want turkey and dressing and gravy over everything LOL

I am not a big candy person except for Reese's and I hate skittles. My kids seemed to get a plethora of skittles so the temptation wasn't strong. I rand 3 miles Friday and 3 miles Sunday which felt a lot better than any candy though. :)
