Most of the weight I lost I found I lost following keto. It's for some people, but not for everyone. Find what's right for you and make it work.

net carbs = subtract carbs from fiber. for instance 20g carbs - 10g fiber = 10g net carbs. you don't count sugar and products that use sugar alcohols tend to have net carbs counted out already and applied to their labels. hope this helps!

hey, girlie... feel free to add me. have been here for three years, have lost about 90 lbs. with 40 to go. :)
-
i only drink vodka or whiskey and i drink black coffee with butter or cream. i take full fat because i'm of sound mind thinking fat and cholesterol is good for you. needless to say, i have much better blood readings because of it... you can occasionally indulge, don't let yourself think messing up is be all end all.
-
probably repetition, but fat loss is weight loss, and fat loss is lost in sheets. think of paper being removed from a stack -- except it's taken from random parts of your body as you go. if you're losing inches, you're still losing weight. promise!

more calories in than out, mass gainer, protein, and carbs.

i almost took op's post personally. 'no way' lmao then explain why i'm losing weight and explain why i can track every single carb i eat to a t without leaving ketosis? i eat keto because it helps me keep from binge eating, helps with glucose control, and helps with other things related to the way i eat as well as my…

in addendum to this thread, it's clear that this is a user who has tried time and again to use some type of tracking site. there's no picture on their profile and they've posted only 14 times. i'd say unless they start listening pretty soon, they're either trolling or they really don't give a crap about accountability in…

i'd be a lot more sympathetic to you if i hadn't lost 90 lbs. recently, and i'm 5'5". in addition to that, my highest weight was 265 lbs. i am biologically female (i identify as male). i had binge eating disorder, pre diabetes, no gallbladder, PCOS, high blood pressure, signs of a fatty liver, and pancreatitis. in addition…

peanut butter. carbs. bread. candy. anything sugary and creamy, ugh. cheesecake, too. cake and cupcakes in general. any of that.
-
just because you disagree with it doesn't make you right, especially if studies prove it works for some people. it's just like keto, which works for me. and please for the life of you don't compare eating extra to binge eating disorder. that's not a thing. i have BED. it's serious - you eat thousands and thousands of…
-
i feel you on this. dread and fear and then making up excuses knowing there's a binge coming, consuming EVERYTHING in sight, piling up thousands and thousands of calories... water weight, depression, it's bad. but we can do it! i promise.

genetics??????? and anyway, the POINT of running (and training in general) is to also accept the fact that you'll see obesity in runners trying to lose weight and become healthier, too professional trainers not attuned to broscience will tell you that losing weight should never only be doing it for your ego bc you'll…

i won't lie, this post concerns me, op. low cal? HOW low cal? your diary isn't open. if you're creating a huge deficit and eating under 1,200-1,000 kcals per day, unless you were restricted to that amount of kcals by a doctor, you're hungry. you NEED to eat or you'll stall and you won't lose weight as your body attempts to…

i'm not even at my goal weight and people have started calling me hot. that's so weird to me. i already deal with really crappy self esteem, so hearing that is... refreshing? i don't know. i mean, they could be humoring me, but at the same time, that was NEVER a regular thing when i was 265 lbs. i've been overweight for…

You can adjust your macros if that doesn't seem to work for you. The best thing you can do is talk to a nutritionist or your doctor if you want near solid advice - just keep in mind that at times even they aren't right. The body's pretty mysterious. So is biology and so is everything that follows! If you find you plateau…

lmfao what is 'clean eating' NOTHING IS SACRED ANYMORE AND THERE IS NO CLEAN we're all sinners and we're going to hell

I don't follow a diet. I eat what I want within my limits and I eat healthy unless I eat bad socially, and tbh, it's not really eating bad per se - I call it eating bad because I eat like that to fit my needs emotionally and physically. Sometimes I'll eat candy or cake or ice cream. I've lost 80 lbs over about 10 months…

if you're going over 2,000 mg of sodium per day and you don't have a health issue that would otherwise mean it needs to be lower, it's water weight. like someone else said, we can't see your diary - the only explanation i have for you is water retention. there's no way (unless you've got BED and you're eating back…

being trans and dealing with a form of ptsd, i know dysphoria, and i know i've been dealing with undereating for a long time because of disordered thinking like that. reading this thread sort of helped. thanks.

key word: diet. don't diet. change your lifestyle. if you're TRULY hungry from not eating enough/taking in enough macros or calories, eat. otherwise, you need water. that's really all i can tell you, tbh.
-
if you're hungry, eat or drink more! i did this with p90x and i still lost weight. not only that, but 2 hours of intense cardio will burn a LOT of carlories. you should eat some of them back. as long as you burn 500 of the calories you eat working out (or create a deficit by not working out and cutting calories by eating…

keep in mind you could also be backed up/constipated. i've definitely had days like that!
-
diet? it's not a diet. look at it like a diet and you might just fail. i call it a lifestyle. :)
-
oh man, i love blue moon. you're making me thirsty ahaha!
-
you can add me!
-
add if you want! been here three months consistently after joining over a year ago. have lost 80 lbs. so far.

you've also got to realize that for some people, nothing's ever good enough. you could be sitting in the 'middle' (the 'middle' being from someone else's perspective) and another person would still call you too fat, too skinny, overweight, etc. you have to do this for you. if you feel good being healthy and lean, stay that…

look. when i tried to lose weight at the age of 19, at 254 lbs., i tried this crap. i'm insulin resistant with a terrible pancreas and i have pcos. i tried alli, i tried hydroxycut, i tried garcinia cambogia. your body is the only thing you can use to lose weight and keep it off. don't try weight loss supplements. most…
