  • Sorry for the late response, and I feel like I should be irritated, but the guy who made the "Tapey" joke was so funny LOOL! I made a call with my doctor an appointment, I'm scheduled tomorrow. Just out of curiosity, I weighed myself again today and I lost 1 more pound, and I ate 2,200 calories yesterday because of the…
  • double post, sorry.
  • Thanks everyone for responding. I use cups and serving sizes to weigh my food. A week prior to this I was sort of eating a lot! (PMS) I probably ate 3000 calories a day, so maybe my metabolize is burning like crazy and I just lost the weight somehow. Another theory I have is I might have grown (?) so my fat might have…
  • Thanks for your input. But, I said I rarely eat the 4 meals, and it's around 300-400 but more on the 400 side. Let's see, 1/2 cup oatmeal is 150 calories, 1/2 yogurt is 80 calories, fruits = 120 calories, and nuts (small serving) would be 50-100 calories. That's 350-400 calories. But once again, my main concern is why I…
  • I really am. I'm eating 1700-1800 calories and I'm extremely sedentary, if I were to eat more I'd gain. My question is why did I lose so much weight in a short time in maintenance mode. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
  • I understand that, but people have been commenting how skinny I've got in the past couple days, it just makes no sense. I have no access to a doctor at this moment or this weekend either.
  • Thank you everyone for answering! You guys have finally opened my eyes, and I think I understand what you're all saying. I'll keep a 3 pound range, 114-120 and I'll make sure to weigh myself once a week, in the morning. I won't count my calories anymore, but I'll eat when I'm hungry and satisfied, but only in healthy food.…
  • I admit I do have some disordered eating, but it's a five year long journey. I don't care if the weight fluctuates, I just don't want to gain fat. I'm okay with weighing more, but I don't actually want to gain FAT. Counting calories everyday makes me obsess sooo badly, and I think about how much I'm eating, so I can't do…
  • Really? Dang. I'm sort of a perfectionist in everything, but I think this is one I have to let go. Thank you. I'll try the 2000 thing and weigh myself every Saturday morning. :)...and go on from there.
  • I understand that I can adjust my calories, but what's worrying me is being off by a large amount. I want to be able to eat the right amount of calories and still feel satisfied, which I know how to do because I love cooking, but I also don't want to overeat calories when it's unnecessary, and I also don't want to undereat…
  • Sorry I forgot to add lose. I meant to say maintain as well. I have eating problems I said up earlier that my weight has been a roller coaster. I'm just trying to make sure so I can go on a right path. I used to eat little to none because I didn't know what a calorie was, and I also would eat so much because of the same…
  • Hmm? He questioned if my TDEE is correct. I want it to be correct, so that I won't gain weight. He said it as if it was off by a lot, just need to make sure. Sorry if I seem bothersome.
  • I'm 19 5'4 and I weigh 120 pounds. I workout (5 once in a while) - 6 times a week and I burn 400-450 calories each time. Is that TDEE too high or something? If you have more knowledge than me please let me know my mistake MrM27. edit: besides that I don't move around or anything but stay on the computer. On school days I…
  • Oh I see thank you so much! Thank you everyone else too. Should I just eat 2000 calories to be on the safe side? Because if I weren't to eat the 100 calories that means in a month I could lose one pound right? That's all I really want. I don't want to be fretting anymore calories. Thanks y'all :)
  • Okay I think I understand so far. But I have one more question. If I were not to exercise on a certain day would I eat less or would my TDEE still be 2149... it makes no sense because I don't get any exercise that day and I chose 3-5 moderately active, thank you.
  • Too many numbers, but I think I'm getting a hang of it (haha....). So I did my TDEE and got 2149 calories to eat a day to maintain. I chose the moderate activity one because I exercise 3-5 hours a week, but it makes no sense. If my BMR is 1402 and I burn 400 calories at the gym 3-5 times a week, then why is it telling me…
  • Thanks for all the responses so far, but I'm still confused. Not sure if you guys are being serious or not, I'm new to fitness and calories and stuff. What is a TDEE? What is my TDEE? I'm very ignorant in this topic.
