Some foods are "trigger foods" as I refer to them, you eat it you end up eating loads of crap. That's crisps and bad chocolate. SI only eat very dark chocolate and avoid those crisps. If coffee is that trigger, then you're doing the right thing avoiding it.

leelou84 I have similar experience, I have found that my arthritic pain dropped once I stopped drinking diet stuff and just generally lowered my carb and sugar intake. It's not low as in Ketosis low but I tend to go no higher than 120 per day on carbs.

I wish I'd taken a "before" photo for myself as I've lost 20 lbs so far and I don't feel the difference and I think people are humouring me.

Hey I'd like to join. I'm looking to lose 32 pounds total. For May I'm looking keep losing 2 pounds a week for the next 5 weeks as I'm going camping and running through forests so I want to be in a place that my knees won't be taking quite so much abuse.
