Checking in for an update on my progress/goals since the last time I posted. Nutrition challenge: So far I've been successful at not eating after 9. Not for everyone and I know it's a bit of a hot topic, but I'm actually giving intermittent fasting a shot, in my case 16 hours of fasting between 9pm and 1pm and 8 hours of…

Just submitted my W1 weigh in at 179.4 lb... only 0.1 lb less from starting weight which is annoying given that I know I'm retaining a lot of water... I actually weigh in daily and use a trending app to see the trend given crazy daily fluctuations, so I know that a few days ago I was down to 177.0. But oh well, plan to…

C25K W1D1 2.0 completed, no stitch this time!

I'll be doing the fitness challenge :)

@SweeteeBri, @Serendipity0913 Thank you so much for the advice about C25K, I'm definitely not doing great when it comes to pacing myself and it definitely needs more work, it probably doesn't help that the manual treadmill I'm using to complete the program has pretty much a permanent incline lol. That being said, as long…

C25K W1D3 completed! I'm debating as to whether I should just do week 1 again instead of moving to week 2, I've never really been a runner and it's been a struggle. It would be nice to be able to complete the session without getting a stitch before moving to a harder workout lol!

That's great! Well done! I completed W1D2 of C25K today and ~15k steps. Had a bad day food wise (ugh easter eggs!) but fully back on track tomorrow!

I don't really have any meals planned, but for the times that I do I try to keep the damage at a minimum... This is roughly what works for me, it might not be perfect but it certainly stops me from going down the slippery slope and binging for a week because "what's the point". If I can accommodate the meals in my calorie…

I ended up deciding to join you guys and started C25K on this manual treadmill I have at home... Wow that was intense! I also did my weekly 30 min swim (pool is far from home so I can't really fit more sessions) this morning which ended up being around 700 mts (26 laps of 25mts each). Feeling good :)

Checking in :) Today I completed my strenght training routine and manage to lift heavier on a couple of exercises (I'm still super weak but every little bit makes me happy!) I'm also participating on this step challenge with a couple of friends and so far I've managed to take 36k steps since Monday (it's Wed here today),…

Hi All, I'm 29 years old and married with no kids. I'm currently ~180 pounds but it has been an ongoing battle. When I was younger I was in an abusive relationship that led to my "original" weight gain, then a few years ago I met my now husband and decided it was time to get healthy and reclaim that "part" of me that would…

I'm in! I usually average ~7k per day, so I'm gonna try to aim for 10k, which I've never been able to consistently do. This might be what finally gets me motivated enough to get there! This week so far: Nov 1st- 3513 Nov 2nd- 7116 Nov 3rd- 8189 Nov 4th- 8154 Nov 5th- 6389 Nov 6th- 7867 Nov 7th- In progress! (and day 1 of…
