Whaaat.. I can't believe this.. This whole time I thought you could, I just hadn't tried. What a disappointment! :( lol

Nuts/nut butters?
-
You so should!! A couple thin orange or lime slices mixed in makes it even better :)!

I'm 23, 135-140lbs. My maintenance is about 2000 calories per day (maybe a smidge more), with cardio 1-2 times a week, strength training 2-3 times per week. My job is fairly active/on my feet.
-
Not sure if anyone has mentioned this or not, but I like to mix club soda (sparkling water) with wine. Cuts down on the alcohol/calories and makes it like a spritzer.
-
This, completely. With rice crackers. I love making a hash - fried up with egg, mashed potato, peppers and garlic/onion is one of my favorites. Chinese chicken fried rice is always great too.

@caroldavison332, that sounds good except I probably won't add child.. lol.

Thanks for all your input, everyone. I've been house-bound for the past week and your replies sadly give me something to look forward to lol. Great idea, @AmazonMayan and @jgnatca, about making my own sausages.. I will definitely do that. I bet you're right that it wouldn't get rid of enough sodium since they're loaded…
-
I guess I should have specified that limiting the sodium IS due to a health concern.. I am not supposed to have over 1000mg of sodium per day due to Meniere's Disease. @rankinsect, you say that only a small amount of sodium would decrease since only a small portion of the sausage is exposed to the water, but I would have…

Do you mind me asking what foods trigger your migraines?
-
Tudors, thank you so much for your inspiring words. I will most definitely check it out! :) <3

Sorry for the very late reply.. It's been a very rough week. I'm so surprised to hear that more people's vertigo is not food-triggered! A lot of people are suggesting the vestibule exercises.. Does anyone have a specific recommendation? I do have a list of them from a "vertigo doctor" that I saw in the summer, but they are…
-
Mangrothian, I noticed that you marinate a lot of things.. What else can you marinate other than eggs and chicken? And is there any other marinade that you use that does not have sodium? (i.e. not soy sauce or fish sauce)
-
I should note if it's not already obvious - I believe certain foods/ingredients are the #1 cause for my vertigo attacks. It's just very difficult to narrow it down to specifics. This being said, let me know if there is any non-food-related things that trigger it for you, too!
-
Oops, very delayed post but thank you, Jenovatrix for advising me of sodium free baking powder!! That's a life saver!
-
Oh, should I be weighing my ingredients? Why do you not recommend tbsp/tsp/cup measurements? Well, bananas are very low in sodium so I'm not too worried about that one.
-
I forgot to mention that the recipe made 8 muffins!
-
Okay perfect, thank you! I wonder how much sodium is actually in one of the muffins then? :/
-
Thank you guys so much.. I am in the middle of medical treatment, I've seen many different doctors and most of them do not seem to know much about vertigo. I'm glad to hear though that there are many reasons for it. I wonder if I were to get a hearing test before I see the ENT (whenever that may be..), and if anything…

Oh and I seriously want to try maple syrup on eggs.. I love it on bacon.
-
LOOOL I love hearing these.. I'm glad I"m not the only one who makes weird concoctions lol.. The peanut butter and grits sounds interesting.. Ughhh the tomatoes and almond butter sounds terrible lmaooo .. @ MinmoInkMinmoInk.. My mixture was slightly sweet actually because of the coconut flour (am I the only one who finds…

Cat, THANK YOU for that crepe shell idea :open_mouth:

I don't log spices unless I've used a substantial amount like in a recipe, or just because I'm obsessed with ground cinnamon on everything haha. I also don't log sugar free water additives like Mio, etc.
-
Loose skin :/ .. I only lost 40 pounds as opposed to people who have to deal with huge amounts of loose skin due to 100 pound, etc. weight losses, and it took a good 2-3 years of working out to snap things back (mostly) into place lol

@Adowe, I didn't realize fat was an important part of staying regular. I'm now tracking it, and it seems like my days are very hit and miss so obviously I need to watch that.. So how should I be getting fat? Peanut butter and coconut oil and stuff like that? @Hilber, thank you for the article. I'm not having any pain at…

Thank you Nickatine, I will definitely be investing in some magnesium citrate. Thank you Sandcastle, I found some flax in my cupboard actually! I bought it last year, hopefully it's still good. I'm going to try some in my cereal right now! Janup, I appreciate you opening your diary :) Thank you! RodaRose I am shocked and…

Would it be stupid to say you could half their usual calories since you're basically just diluting vegetables? That's a really good question.. *lurks for the answer*
-
Gotta say, shrimp tacos sound pretty amazing right now.. Goat cheese, deli meats, olive hummus and rice crackers with probably a fruit.
-
Sunto, you say you have a fibre supplement every 3 days.. What do you take? As well, what "healthy fats" are you referring to? I fry my fish and vegetables in coconut oil. I avoid dairy almost completely (other than coffee creamer and some goat cheese, the occasional cream in a coffee) and mostly avoid grains other than…

Apparently this is different from the current answers, but I have a fairly big rib side piece and it was my least painful tattoo.. Never had top of the foot though, but I have the inner side of my foot done which did hurt. From experience, foot is worse because the skin is so thin!
