Congrats on your loss! I am a runner - although I'm not a big race runner. Just run for me. I am 41 and am an "empty nester", so I have more opportunity/time to run. Best of luck to you for your half marathon!

I no longer need to lose as much as you, but did at one time. At my best, I lost 115. I since have put 15 back on after quitting smoking, but am determined to lose that again. 40 year old mom of a 19 year old and step-mom of a 30, 28 and 26 year old, plus 7 grand-babies. Self-employed with hubby with a logging and milling business. (Yes, I log and run a sawmill. :smile: ) Log on every day, interact when I can!

I also resort to beating myself up over failures. What I am finding (finally) is that it is a massive waste of energy!!! Use that energy to dive into your exercise. Remember how bad the self abuse feels when you want to grab that extra snack. Believe me, I'm not lecturing - I'm reminding myself of these tips as I type. ;)…
