I've been in maintenance mode for 3 weeks now. I used MFP to change from losing to maintenance and it upped my calories from 1200 to 1460, not counting exercise calories. SCARY! Great thread, and I'm a huge JM fan! Question: how do you log the workouts in MyFitnessPal / MapMyFitness? I just log it as calisthenics... I don't want to overshoot the calories burned, nor do I want to short change myself...

I LOVE 30 Day Shred! It's my go to and I've done it for a long time, HOWEVER, I almost never do Level 2. I have a lower back/hip injury and I can't do in some of those moves. You're absolutely right about the initial lost-a-lot-of-weight-quickly look. I'm thinking that is a contributor. Even though I did the 1-2 pounds a week, it's still a lot to lose 45# in 5 months. Being older, my skin may take a while to catch up, and that's fine. ;) Thanks for your response!

Thanks for all of the feedback. I think you're all correct, the 500 deficit/day is for a one pound loss, not two. I was hoping for a two pound/week loss, but couldn't imagine cutting that many calories. I just joined MFP about a month ago, 2 weeks into a 6 week/6% meltdown challenge. It's over this week and I'm looking for the motivational element that MC provided. I also just joined a 5#/November group ... wish I'd seen this first. Oh well, I'll do both! Looking forward to this!!
