Orange and Tomato Simmered Chicken from Cooking Light. Made with Cauliflower Rice instead of couscous as the recipe called for. Love the fennel but a little bland...400 calories for a lot of food though kind of makes up for it.

Thanks :)

Not sure of difference between whole egg and just egg, but I buy egg whites separately and use for my smoothies since they are pasteurized. I also have several recipes where I uses egg yolks only or combinations of 3 whites one yolk etc...But pasteurized whites are convenient to have on hand to add additional protein to…

My husband has set up an exercise room and uses his elliptical almost daily doing any where from 8-16 miles each evening watching tv. He feels guilty watching tv not working out. This has worked great for him as his busy schedule makes working out at home convenient. We have splurged for a life fitness eliptical that will…

A number of years ago when I was breast feeding i definitely had trouble losing weight during that time...I though Darwin was more concerned my child would grow and survive then any want or need on my part. Magically 2 or so months after I quit, the hormones finally normalized and the weight just melted away. Hormones…

Before starting MFP I really thought was eating a lot of protein, as I started to track I discovered I was eating roughly 45 grams and as a fairly active female age 54 I was seriously undereating protein. I increased my protein, was more full...I often now have a protein or chocolate collagen smoothy(I am 54 am very…

I do have a dermotologist and she has commented this is actually not uncommon and many individuals not allergic to tree nuts also react. IDK ...But finding skin care…

I have had sciatica problems for years and recently developed specifically piriformus pain. I have been sitting on a heating pad at night and using my TENS unit and that has helped resolve the pain. I am not sure which type of cardio is best but I do notice when I bike long distances I do seem to irritate it. We have such…

I am not sure if I will qualify....I started doing Les Mills Body Pump class in January. I had never touched a weight before but exercised doing various cardio exercises and hot yoga. I can not say I love lifting yet, but I know as a 54 year old woman it is important for my fitness. Thanks to MFP I started tracking my food…

I dilute my wine....A 2 once pour and then 5-6 ounces Lacroix carbonated water. I end up usually drinking 6 ounces of wine instead. I have started not drinking on weekdays and really looking forward to Friday night when I am going to enjoy a glass of wine.

I screwed up my knee 2 years ago and had to suspend my usual activities for several weeks. I found several videos on Youtube for exercising sitting down- I searched, I think, sitting workouts. They were shockingly aerobic. I then started Les Mill Body pump doing wall sits instead of squats and lunges. I will never be…

Recently I have used spray olive oil or spray avocado oil. The can says 1/4 second spray .25grams...I find use a minimal amount of oil this way. I spread my veggies on a cookie sheet and spray lightly probably 2 seconds -4 seconds, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Voila! I have a vegetable chopper I can not live without so…
