Cheese doesn't fill me up at all ha ha. When I'm hungry, I try going for snacks that are good in protein like boiled eggs.

It's strange because I've been eating in a deficiency for almost a year and my hunger has barely adjusted itself. I sometimes get strange cravings for junk food, but I'm mostly just always hungry for the most part. I drink 2 liters of water every day, get enough fat, fiber, and protein in. I also snack on a lot of veggies…

I really wish I could find a way to reduce my hunger. I do eat bananas and sweet potatoes. I always measure everything I eat, so that's no problem. I normally don't eat out at restaurants too often, but occasionally it's fine. :) I looked into the low carb diet before and I'm not a fan at all since it's so restrictive. I…

Here was what I ate today for Easter (I know there is a lot of bread in my list, but that's what is very common to eat here in the Netherlands and it was the only thing available to eat at our Easter brunch today) a turkey sandwich on whole grain bread, a turkey sandwich with a hard boiled egg on it, another turkey…

I actually have never tried HIIT training, can you tell me what it is about? I always use the Aerobic training setting which is pretty exhausting. Every minute it changes the resistance. Do you think the HIIT training would be better? Our Gym does offer Zumba, but unfortunately it is only in Dutch which I don't know yet ha…

I am glad I tried other machines, but the elliptical trainer is the one that works for me :D I'm glad other people like it as well. I actually injured my knee 6 months ago and it has healed up, but it still has a little bit of problems. So the elliptical is also the easiest on it which I'm so happy about. I just never…

You're absolutely right! :D When I went to the gym a few years ago, I was mostly using the treadmill and I would skip days a lot since I couldn't stand the thought of going on the treadmill for a hour. Then I started not going at all. Believe it or not, I never tried the elliptical until recently since I was terrified of…

Thank you so much everyone! :) I don't have a HRM since I mainly use the elliptical and I heard they are not good at calculating on the elliptical. I will have to try the rower again, I did once before but I couldn't get the right posture. When I first started using the elliptical 3 weeks ago, it was very exhausting for me…

2 automobile tires and a human brain (43 pounds). Wow! It is amazing when you put it into perspective like that. I think a lot of people don't realize how much weight they truly lost until they compare it to something. It's amazing how much weight I was carrying around before.
-
Thanks everyone :) I've been losing weight eating bread daily, but I just wanted to make sure nothing is wrong with that. Thanks for the reassurance!
-
Thank you :) I really do love turkey sandwich's. Thankfully I don't care for mayo or any dressings with it which saves on calories. I always eat veggies with dinner.
-
I understand that but say if I put the same effort in both machines for a hour, will one burn more than the other or will the be about the same?
-
Well I mean I do a hour of cardio 4-5 days a week. So I was wondering if one burned more than the other.

I think it is called a stair climber pedal-based climber. That's what I found when I searched for the name of it. :) Thank you so much for the information. I have tried both of them myself. I find the elliptical much more difficult than the stair climber pedal-based climber. On the stair climber pedal-based climber, it is…

Funny since I found myself with 270 extra calories today  I decided to spend 115 on chocolate and 150 on a small chocolate cake type of thing  I was just craving chocolate today ha ha.

I think you might be right LOL! Gym equipment is such a foreign concept to me. I think they look identical beside the foot petals. My husband said it looked like a stair stepper, but I didn't think it was since I've never seen a stair stepper with moving handle bars. I looked up stair steppers and found one called a stair…

I know exact how you feel having IBS myself :( It really is horrible and discouraging. It makes every day tasks so difficult. Mine is pretty bad and it happens several times a day. If I even drink some tea I'm off to the bathroom sigh. It's nice to know were not alone though. :)
-
Thank you so much everyone for the encouraging words. :) It is good I am getting stronger and I will keep doing my best
-
That's true, but I am just a bit disappointed since I really believe I was getting a little bit of muscles and I was seeing results from my strength training. I've never had muscles since I never strength trained, so it was really excited for me. But to hear there just swollen is a bit heart breaking. :( But I guess I…
-
Someone said muscles I strained will be bigger. Darn and here I thought I was gaining some muscle and so proud of myself. :(
-
Thank you guys :) I really hope it is water retention from swollen muscles. That makes sense since I have been pushing myself quiet a bit when I'm training muscles and cardio. But nothing that is too much for me. Does anyone know how long it takes to go away?

Absolutely walking can make a huge difference. :) I lost my 40 pounds just from walking 2 hours 5 days a week (6.3 miles in total per day). Unfortunately my body has gotten use to the walking routine since I was doing it for 6 months, so it doesn't burn as many calories and it takes longer to lose a pound. I think around…

I actually had a similar battle with myself last night. I seriously considered skipping the chicken-and-veggies dinner I had planned and having an entire box of Girl Scout cookies instead. The madness didn't last long, but...it was a close thing.[/quote] I know exactly how you feel! Girl Scout cookies are very addicting.…

I decided to eat 50 grams of chocolate (272.5 calories) instead of a Turkey Sandwich (200 calories) because I was craving chocolate so badly and I haven't had it in a while :( It's also my weakness. Worst of all I knew eating the chocolate wouldn't fill me up one bit and the Turkey sandwich would've been the better option…

I honestly have no idea what the weight is. I didn't think it mattered much since most of the weight was coming from veggies. There's not a lot of meat on there, but it's still good.

When I searched the Lahmacun, the one with the most calories was 450 for one. So if you had 2, it would still be less than 1,000. Hopefully the one I had was only 1,000 since it was about the size of two.
