Thank you guys for your opinion :)! I haven't tried it yet, so I'm not sure how it is, but I do plan on having it a bit later and I'm pretty excited.

The only reason I worry if because I wish I would've got the one with more protein. :(

The package I bought said it was greek yogurt, so I really hope it is lol! I hope it still is alright since I have no idea if full-fat yogurt is good for dieting. Thank you for warning me about the hidden artificial sweeteners. :) I don't believe this one has any. I plan to use berries to sweeten it up though! But urg that…

Thank you! That is a relief for em to hear. :) I have no problem with a bit more calories. I normally eat a turkey sandwich and the bread alone has 115 calories! I am only upset a bit with the lower protein :pensive:

i did have a turkey with boiled egg slices on a sandwich before and it was delicious :) similar to your idea ha ha would that be alright?

Thank you everyone! I have taken the depo provera shot for over a year, so I'm not sure if that could affect my appetite. The satiety index was extremely helpful and I loved it :D!! I've been looking for something like that for a while. I do think I might need to add some more protein in my diet and hopefully that could…

Yes I do eat the same foods practically every day besides dinner. I actually don't mind eating the same foods every day since I enjoy them. I'm a pretty simple person. I have tried to switch things up though. I've tried more protein based meals like peanut butter sandwiches or turkey and egg sandwiches. But I find they…

Thank you everyone for the advice. :) Lucky today isn't a bad day for me, but that's probably because the last few days I've eaten over my calorie limit. When I eat at my maintenance level on the weekend and get back into the routine, I'm fine the first day, but I get hungrier as the week goes on even though I'm eating…

Hunger really is difficult to cope with. Especially when I'm obese and use to eating a lot of food. Drinking water and consuming protein hasn't made me less hungry either unfortunately. I have been a grazer and graze on small meals through out the day with a huge dinner. But I still find myself always hungry and wanting to…

I actually do save 800-900 calories for dinner ha ha. But that's because I know even if I eat a lot through out the day, I will still be starving at dinner and eat a lot of food. I do eat quiet a bit though out the day and burn about 500 calories on the elliptical, so it allows me to eat a lot more! I eat 5 times a day.
-
I really should. I do good with tracking calories, but it sucks figuring out the macros lol! Also I'm not sure how to log the dinner since every night, someone new in our house makes dinner. I'm not sure all the ingredients they used, so I can't estimate the macros. I do save plenty of calories for dinner though and am not…

Aww thank you. :) It makes me feel better to hear that. I always feel like I'm being judged since I'm obese and eating more. :( But the problem is I'm trying to eat at a 1600 calorie range so I will be in deficiency and lose weight. But that's difficult to do when your constantly hungry and thinking about food. :( Right…

I mean I don't mind putting water in my oatmeal. I always try to cut calories any way possible. If I don't add milk in my oatmeal, I'm able to eat more oatmeal since I only use water which has 0 calories. I also only drink water/tea since there are 0 calories in it. I rather eat my calories than drink them. :) I don't…

What is the window of newbie gains? :open_mouth: Is it about gaining muscle? I heard it's not possible to gain muscle while eating at a deficiency :(. It's really strange though because ever since I've started lifting, I feel like I have a harder time losing weight. I'm not sure if it's a coincidence or what it could be.
-
I use to add milk in my oatmeal, but I cut it out since it added a lot of calories. I don't like greek yogurt unfortunately and I stay away from cheese/nuts since they have a lot of calories. I do eat a lot of meat at night though! I'm sure that's where most of my daily protein intake come from lol!
-
I definitely am a volume eater! I don't really like eating salads since I dress salads with olive oil and vinagear which really brings up the calories. :( I've tried looking for low calorie dressings here, but I can't find any in the Netherlands. I love eating soups though! But I always am hungry a hour or two later no…

I've been lifting recently too :) Right now I'm only lifting 20 lbs, but it's really heavy to me ha ha. I strength train 2-3 times a week for 30 minutes. Even though I won't gain muscle since I'm in a deficiency, I do want to keep the muscles I have. :D
-
It's strange because when I have a snack, I can eat 2-3 boiled eggs or a lot of veggies, and I'm not satisfied. Do I need to eat like 10 boiled eggs or something at one time?! Lol
-
That's about 71.28 gram of protein for me then :D A lot more than I thought.
-
I always thought a egg had 12-13 grams of protein in it ha ha! I'm glad to learn the truth though. :)
-
I do believe some people are naturally hungrier than others. But it's strange to me because I am eating plenty of protein, fats, fibers, and veggies. So I feel like I shouldn't be starving or hungry. :( I hear stories of other people eating less calories than me, but they are full and satisfied. So it really is strange to…
-
Really? I heard women should not eat more than 46 grams of protein! I'm sure lately I've been eating a lot more though with the boiled eggs. :) I do go on the elliptical 4 times a week for a hour and strength train 2-3 times a week for 30 minutes. I get super hungry when I work out, but it gives me more of a deficiency to…

When I calculated before, I got around 50 grams of protein. I haven't calculated in a while though, but I think I get more than enough protein. :) Every day I eat oatmeal which has protein, turkey sandwich which have protein, and our dinners always include some kind of meat for protein as well. Sometimes I eat boiled eggs…
-
Really!? That is wonderful news :D I guess my normal size is still a big stomach ha ha!
-
I do eat bananas and boiled eggs for protein and fiber. The turkey sandwich also have protein. :) I'm not sure if eggs have good fat in them. I tend to stay away from fatty things like nuts, avocado, butter, olive oil, ect since they have so many calories and don't satisfy me. I always dress my salads in olive oil with a…

That's a good idea :D I did track my macros months ago and they were fine. But I haven't lately since I figured I was eating good enough and calorie count is more important. Although it is difficult to count every macro since every night, someone in our family makes dinner. So it's a bit hard to calculate macros when I…

I think that might be my issue. Since I've always been heavy and have always eaten a lot, I think I stretched my stomach too much. :( I wish there was a way to reverse it. I've been eating smaller amounts for over a year, but I haven't got accustomed to it. I definitely am not over restrictive. :) I do make sure to eat…

I actually haven't logged on MFP for ages. I do however keep track of my calories and weigh everything I eat including the veggies. I always write the calories on a piece of paper and track it during the day. But I always forget to add them on MFP and if I do, I think what's the point since I already have them written down…
-
I wish there was a way to naturally shrink your stomach ha ha :) I have been eating a lot more veggies lately and try to add it in every meal I eat. Like if I have a turkey sandwich, I will put on a lot of lettuce, tomato, and onions. But veggies don't tend to fill me up much unfortunately. Although I don't eat 1 pound of…

I've have been cutting back calories for almost a year and don't notice much of a difference with my hunger :( I do try to eat things that will fill me up longer like boiled eggs or bananas, but they don't satisfy me for long. I do snack on veggies during the day and eat some at dinner. :)
