Just keep swimming, just keep swimming.

The FDA just recently revised their recommendations surrounding fat, cholesterol, sodium. You might want to visit their website and do some hunting there. My mom immediately de-stressed when the new ideas came out.
-
I asked about this recently at a blood drive, they said that it was perfectly fine to donate and was encouraged (we recover faster for some reason? ), but they'd make a note to not give the blood to a diabetic. No clue why. This was blood source during a drive at my school.

I feel no guilt about dowsing berries in heavy cream. Used to have cream go sour. Now that never happens.

I'm with everyone else. Forget calories, count your carbs, make sure you get enough fat. Maybe up your sodium some. Tom reeks havoc.

Woohoo! I love walking the dog.

Protein shakes like premier are low carb, and very high protein. You can blend things b into them if you like. Some berries or a lc peanut butter.

I do best on 20 or less, net. And not too much net, ie eating a bunch of really high fiber things in a day sets me back.
-
But where is your fat, percentage wise? I run 20-40% protein, but on those days most of the rest is fat.

I've had to leave it behind as I will crave biscuits afterwards. But I know it's doable for lots of people.
-
It's not fat-it's water weight that your body is holding onto(bloat, in your case), probably from cortisol levels beign way to high from stress, lack of sleep, etc.

For the first time in forever I didn't stress eat. I have a major test coming up tomorrow, and my boyfriend of over a year just broke up with me, still didn't reach for the food, in fact I couldn't eat at all.

I've noticed my skin becoming clearer as well, but attribute it less to what I do/don't eat and more to the fact that I've lost body fat which is part of the hormone regulatory system. I also decided to do a whole life change when I started dieting again. I exfoliate 3x week with a sugar scrub, moisturize 1x day, use tea…

And it's in vegas!

I like it

I like that article, but I feel like lc, and particularly lchf isn't really going to curry favor for a long time yet. That said, I will be showing that to my cardiologist next time I'm in, he's against the high fat nature of my diet. He thinks BPC is the devil's own creation, but his office manager drinks it. :p

Personally I feel that workouts need to be practical, I'm not going to work to build up my arms when I mostly need core/back and leg strength. When I workout it's mostly walking and bodyweight. If it was good enough for my parents and grandparents to do the same things Im doing then it's good enough for me.

My move is syncing just fine.

That seems pretty accurate for me. It could be a nice motivational tool for people who can't see the difference easily.

Cake makes me horribly ill now. My birthday is tomorrow and I'm not having anything sweet, unless I make some keto cheesecake. I own't touch stuff now. Mom complains that I'm impossible now.

I don't have fibromyalgia exactly, but I have a very close disorder which keto was prescribed to treat. I think it could potentially greatly help with it, as it has helped with my issues. I think the important part is that it reduces inflamation and calms nerves(physical kind). Fibro and my thing are both caused by…

If you want a fattier more flavorful goat look for one with some fat at its front flank area, that'll be a good fat goat. It's usually wanted leaner, in which case no fat. In CA steers have been going for 75 cents to 1.50 per pound, and lambs about 2.50, goats between 25 cents and a dollar. Not including cut and wrap, most…

I have very cold hands and feet when my blood pressure is low.

If you've suddenly added anything your body might be holding onto water to be safe.
-
I need to make cheesecake.

I'd strongly recommend bacon and eggs, egg salad, deviled eggs, etc for breakfast and snack. Cut out cereal, ice cream, all that. Ground beef in scrambled eggs is good and can be precooked.

I like the calories burned in a month.

Would he allow sugar snap peas? Those are tasty and 7 total carbs. Quest bars can be good, try some different flavors.

Im gonna make a note to revive this thread in June. I have three weeks of untrackable food then.

We have hamburger sitting in the fridge that's probably about 40% fat....can you tell that I agve the butcher extra special instructions this year? Lol
