I don't do IF formally, but often end up in in that sort of cycle. I log every morsel that passes my lips, even on off days. I rarely complete my diary though, as I have GI conditions where I don't get in the mfp approved # of cals, and I forget the other days. I'd love some more friends.

I just found out by reading a report from 2014. My doctor is great in all other respects, but neglects reviewing lab results WITH me, instead of before I come. Thank you all for the suggestions and tips. I'm not sure if the U.S. has laws about labeling like the UK and Canada, but I'm good at reading labels. @goatlady6 I…

I definitely second blending it, you want the frothy goodness, not a puddle of oil on top. I sometimes add spices (pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, nutmeg) or some cocoa with my hwc and sweetener. Makes something very reminiscent of a flavored latte.

I find McDs to be the easiest of the fast food restaurants to order at, except in n out (here in california!) since they have the protein style and it's a common request. Around me the McDs have a 2 for $4 sausage/egg mcmuffin with cheese deal right now, which is perfect since I can give the buns to the hens when I get…

The cause for low blood pressure can be an over-active vagus nerve. In that case, salt, exercise, adequate sleep and very high hydration can slow that nerves responses. There's also medication for it, midodrine is the most common. It's not at all the same as keto-flu, as electrolyte imbalance is typically only a small part…

OMG YES! I needed to make a trip to costco for heavy whipping cream and butter anyway but now I really need to go!

I love coconut oil. Like an unholy love affair. And avocado. I also have some 6-8% milk fat goats milk party of the year that i Love.

Nicky X Anyone feel free to add me. I'm either super active or no where close to my goals. Some motivation would be superb

Be careful, some people can honestly have too much sodium. If you get foot/leg/ankle or hand/finger swelling that does not abate after a week you probably need to cut back. Play around with it, but be aware that you can upset your body's balance quite easily with tablets.

I have and use both, but find low carb baking a bit of a chore no matter which I'm using. I can make some pretty good pancakes with either, and mug cakes with coconut flour. Bread uses almond flour, although I'll be trying it with coconut flour soon.

A mixture, probably egg, then coffee bean, then carrot. I have a tendency to 'turtle', withdraw and put up walls to help myself. Sometimes the coffee though.

Grain fed all the way, there's a reason we finish animals that way, it makes them taste good!

different entries are different, it's part of being a user generated database, try to check the usda website and find an entry that matches, and weigh your food for most accurate logging

The all discussions link doesn't even work for me, and the stuff on the first page doesn't update when I click in and out of it, still showing new posts.

Just keep in mind that you will bonk worse during adaptation than any other time. I don't run, but I bike and it was bad when I was in adaptation mode. Now I'm all good.

I'm gonna toss this in here from personal and family experience. Don't drop down to under around 1000 calories, even at your height (same height here). I might get flack for saying this BUT STARVATION MODE IS A REAL THING! Especially if you've eaten at very low calorie levels in the past, intentionally or not. All the…

I have those exact atkins bars and I do subtract the sugar alcohols for anything that I feel *should* have them. Candy, a bar like those, quest, shakes by atkins, etc But I don't subtract them from things like frozen pizza or dinners because why the heck are you putting sugar alcohols in that in the first place!

8ish months for a 40 pound loss, went up 6-10 pounds(curse you water weight!) during hell week and kidding season(baby goats are not conducive to a low carb diet). So I suspect anywhere from 2-3 months for those 10 lbs, but if I were really gung ho about it probably 3 weeks. I know at least 4-5 is water flux and could drop…

It also seems to go away as you adapt for a lot of people, or at least become less of a pain

Torani, davinci, skinny girl for syrups. And I want that sign.

^only if the barcode is tied to the correct product, I've had a barcode on lunchmeat come up as an apple....

I would also add that unless someone were taking very specific supplements they probably aren't hitting the micro goals anyway. We know theyre important, but not really how important in the long run.

Balanced is a very relative term. I feel my diet is balanced as long as I'm eating mostly whole foods and not overdoing any one thing.

I. Would. Die. And so would they when I went into a blind fit of rage/anxiety attack at being judged that way. And I have enough medical problems that my doc reviews my diary every 2 weeks via screenshare. Any chance you can flip them the bird about it on account of your anxiety from it? That doesn't sound healthy.

1460 calories 50 g carbs 100 g fat 90 g protein 5'2" and 135-140 pounds. Unlike some (most?) people I stop losing and get incredibly tired if I don't hit that protein #. I'm also working on building some muscle so it helps me not get so sore. If my protein is higher than my fat I don't sweat it unless I'm hungry for no…

I started at 20 then 35 and am now at 50, all net. 20 seems to be prime weightloss for me, but 50 is a good maintenance # and is doable if I have a meal out a day. That's important to me since I'm in college and would like to not be seen as a complete freak-no matter how healthy that freakery is!

I'm super late, but I was so happy to get physics done with. It's not my best subject and I really struggled.

5'2", maintaining at 135-140 on 1460 or so. Pretty sedentary right now thanks to an injury, when I'm my normal active self I get about 500 extra from my jawbone.
