I'd back off longer than a couple days, it can easily take 3-5 for the body to rid itself of sodium caused water retention

I do mine by volume, one level tbsp if it's liquid, one slightly bumpy tbsp if it's solid. I probably should weigh it like nicsflyingcircus, but just got my scale today so haven't had a chance to play yet.

Things happen, our bodies are bizarre works of art/science/who the heck knows. But we get where we're going eventually.

Corn/Grain industries. Those are major beasts that would have to be conquered, and then theres the increased demand for meat and milk products that would have to be met. Which requires an increase in grain production to feed the cattle and other animals. Sigh, such a complicated issue.

We don't buy pecans unless we have plans for them because they're just.too.good.

Does white chocolate raspberry really taste like it's name? It sounds good, but I don't want to order 24 of them, same with smores.

I said no to walking, long day tomorrow and needed the rest

They do count, but low carb tends to make people less hungry, thus you don't have to necessarily count calories. If you don't eat when you're really hungry your body has a stress response, releasing cortisol, which makes it harder to lose weight. Each body has a natural ideal weight(more like an ideal range probably) that…

35, up to 50 if I'm really tired/hungry

^depends on the garden section, I've seen both at the same tractor supply depending on the week

Depends how much plain water you'd be drinking. If you're slugging back a couple gallons per day then maybe(depending on what youre getting from food) an electrolyte mix would be good. But if you're getting enough sodium, pot and mag from food/pill supplements then it might not be necessary. Might be a good way to beat the…

I had just about learned to cook high carb when I switched to this WOE so I really had to start from scratch again :p I also am in the process of learning to shop for both my WOE and adding a carby element occasionally. I was at the store yesterday and realized I knew how to pick the perfect crown of broccoli and the…

When you twitch if you see people just eating food without any considerations to the calories or macros... When you weigh the food for the goats because they need to meet their macros and micros too....

I don't belong to a gym currently, and have anxiety over injuring myself because I have to be able to work.

Some strains survive just fine without refrigeration, they just last longer if they are refrigerated. ie: INGREDIENTS: Dried Enterococcus Faecium Fermentation Product, Dried Lactobacillus Acidophilus Fermentation Product, Dried Lactobacillus Casei Fermentation Product, and Dried Lactobacillus Plantarum Fermentation…

+1 for the fairlife, I finally have milk I can work into my day on a regular basis and the whole milk is deliciously creamy to boot. Values per cup: 6 carbs 150 cals(for the whole) 13 grams of protein 8g of fat I don't remember the calcium figure, but it's also higher than normal milk, so good for us women on birth control…

Interesting knit. I often feel this way, and so does my dad (super carb eater). I think we'll be trying the dab of something before we have our meal!

Darn brains playing tricks on us. I hate in the mirror and not seeing what my loved ones see. It'll come in time I suppose.

Depends how you see this thing called low carb or keto. For some (me included) it's a woe/wol (way of eating/way of life), for others it's a diet. So for some of us it's for life, others until maintenance.

I've had zero carb weeks, one week at a stretch. But only because pork ribs or chicken thighs were on a really good sale and I could afford it. I really enjoy it when I can do it, but I'm the only low carber in the house so I can't just fill the chest freezer with ground beef, chicken thighs and pork chops.

You might want to look into dysautonomia. The few other people I've met with it were all given similar diagnoses of "whiny baby with no pain tolerance/stressed/tired and exaggerating". The only test for it is to rule everything else out, or a blood test that will tell you if it's familial.

I do restrict, although I'm rarely hungry enough to get close to my ceiling. I find it hard to over eat if I'm eating low carb foods, but ymmv. I do believe that restricting cals in the beginning of lc is detrimental, but something that should probably be monitored as you go along as another metric to keep you aware.

Grandma always used rough steel wool and bacon fat for lubrication. I love her old skillets, all the way from Czechoslovakia as a wedding gift, they're from the 1890s supposedly.

Have you had any nervous system testing? And how's your blood pressure? I have a condition that makes me vomit and be tired all the ******* time. It's being mitigated by a drug that raises my blood pressure to "textbook perfect", I was in the low end of "normal" but it was too low for me.

Could be the thyroid or the medication. I've noticed more 'shedding' recently too, my stylist attributes mine to not enough calories.

I can stand up ibn the balls of my feet for 20 minutes now. My balance has returned! So close to rejoining dance.
