If I lived closer I'd feed you, actual food. Im about an hour and a half from the fire zones. We were part of the evacuation for livestock and part of the donation gathering team.

@wabmester might be able to. What medication is it? There are several around for GERD I think.
-
I'd look at your fat content first, then fiber. It's fat that should keep us regular on this diet.

My water intake is already good, but I'm going to work on my salt intake and staying closer to my calorie goal. (I'm chronically low) So within 200 cals. Carbs under 35 net. My main goal will be to be mindful of eating. Also to find low carb dishes for the holidays.

This looks like a batch cooking dream recipe. I have been looking for more things to batch cook and freeze by the quart and this looks perfect. You're an angel! I think I'd use butter instead of ground beef fat because butter in chili is amazing and allowed on this woe.

WT: 134.3 Crb: 35 net, average Cals 1440(set) EX: Whatever the count is for "winter is coming!" on a full time ranch, plus walking/biking on campus Weight loss: Average 1 lbs per week, but anywhere from zero to 6 pounds.

I have a hunch that this happens to me too. I love cinnamon, but had to remove it from my BPC because including it made me shaky, crash, etc. Eating it with protein(cinnamon chicken breasts) seems ok, but having it with fats or in plain coffee seems to be a no go. Strangely enough I don't get any reactions from cinnamon…

I count net, per day. I could see doing per meal for something like diabetes, but they may need to count total as opposed to net(not my area of knowledge). Also, 11 carbs and all of them being fiber is nearly impossible unless it was like 11 outer romaine leaves....

I try for 3 meals per day as I'm prone to 1 not eating enough calories otherwise, and 2 I like being able to participate in other peoples lives with some kind of ease. My family revolves around dinner, and even though I'm not hungry most of the time for it, I sit, I munch some steak, we talk and have a good time.

He is, I could have sworn I saw it mentioned that he got a whole new account for whatever reason. I think the profile pic is still something to do with cycling, though I could be wrong.

Salted butter. We can only have unsalted in the house(dad is very salt restricted) but I keep a pound of salted at school and I crave it sooo much on the weekends! Salt on butter doesn't seem to cut it. I put the salted in my coffee, with or without some sugar free caramel syrup.

I have a cold, and am strangely grateful for the lack of super sniffering! It's a special kind of hell to walk into class and smell, distinctly, at least 15 perfumes. The rest blend together to smell like dead animal every.single.time.

Winco is awesome, but I agree the set-up sucks for low carb.
-
Oooh. Could you describe the flavor and texture of a typical one? I've never tried eel.

Anyone know what would happen if I replaced the coconut milk with heavy cream/goats milk? It sounds delicious, but fridge is taken up with gallons upon gallons of goat milk....

I agree with staying in nutritional ketosis for life. I'm using this diet to treat a lifelong condition, and I've been keto for over 8 months.

O.O You can steep teabags in milk??? Oh boy the world is opening up to my eyes. What stores have you seen the pumpkin spice tea bags at?
-
I like that phrase way way more than I probably should. >:)

I'm roughly the same into this as you are. But for me this is a permanent fact of life, I don't think I'll be able to raise to more than 50 grams per day in the next 20 years if ever(unless I get pregnant). I love nuts and dark chocolate, but I can't replace a craving for a mcchicken with them. There is bottom-line no…

I specifically go to stores at night, when the meat has just been marked down and the bakery is closed.
-
Looks like a good recipe for it. It's delicious! Sometimes just mayo and vinegar on chicken is delicious.

I would just smile and nod to the dietitian. At some point studies mean next to nothing, as a single person you're at that level. You are you, and you are great, and you do best on LC. Just don't tell them that
-
Please do! They're so colurful

I'm pro fluoride. My mom took the tablets when she was pregnant with me and I have the only good teeth in my family. Genetically we seem prone to cavities. I've had 4 in my life, all after moving to the ranch with non-flouride water. I do think it's made a difference.

Yogurt substitute with gelatin and culture. Google it, it's delicious.

This. I'm also in college and trying to lose weight at the same time. Make your own food, batch cook if you can. Cafeteria food is a giant no go for me unless it's something like celery and peanut butter. Take food with you everywhere. REMEMBER TO FREAKING EAT! I know my classmates and I are horrible about this. When you…

I do a keto carb level. But it's doctor prescribed, and not for everyone. Luckily it works lifestyle/mentally as well as health wise for me.
-
If it cools down enough this week it'll be chicken breast and veggies and then pork roast with seasonings and onions/celery/maybe radishes.
-
I'm going to be honest and say that I've cried my way through cravings before. If nothing else sounds good except the craving I just don't eat. It'll usually pass.

I'd try adding muscle first, and see how you look. I'm a good deal shorter than you (Just barely 5'2") and there is a dramatic difference between 135 but with a nice tight midsection and 135 without the nice tight midsection. If you're going for a six pack abs with major definition, you might need to go on a cut after the…
