I read an article on this topic by the owner of one of the top training centers in the country. His take, from 30+ years in the industry, you will have some people that are put off by facial piercing and/or elaborate tats no matter how good you are. This will lower your potential client base. If you're okay with that for…

If you're battling an eating disorder, best advice would be to get professional help. Good luck.
-
FYI most trainer and coaching certificates don't allow specific diet advice. As someone else mentioned a Registered Dietitian Best of luck.

Fixed it for you.

There's a woman in my community that is 6ft and weights right around 240-250. She has 8 age group world records in powerlifting. Her bodyfat is 29% (per article about her in the local paper). Unless you have world class levels of muscle (this woman is deadlifting 475 in competition for example), your goal weight should…

Not going to spend my money on that MLM stuff.

You can fit a bit z wine into a healthy diet/weight loss but seriously ask yourself ehy you think you need to drink more during a summer home with kids.

Believe the main reason is to cut down on wind resistance.

Good pointers. I couldn't care less if Starbucks never existed too.
-
How about Fall being a great time for long walks, hikes, runs, bike rides, etc that many put off because, "summer heat is so stifling"? Chopping wood for the fireplace, raking leaves, etc. Great time to get in some more activity.

Cats love it as well as most dogs. Put a bowl of water next to a bowl of milk as see which one the cat picks.

After years of being around co-workers who didn't bring in stuff and brought their lunches from home, I'm now around a group that brings in treats and wants to go out 3-4 times a week for lunch. Looking back, nobody in the former group had a weight issue. In the current group, its more like 50% (granted both sample sizes…

Any colleges around you? Most have pools and many will have some sort of pass for locals.
-
And how many people train hard 4X a week? Pretty small part of the population.
-
Back in college lost about 10 pounds between 1 PM Friday and 11 AM Saturday. Drank a bunch of beer/hard liquor and somewhat dehydrated.

Live in a boring area. Minimal industrial pollution and no forest fire issues. Just heat and humidity so not a game changer

Good for you in trying to stay active. To be honest, I would get a recommendation for a trainer from your physical therapist who knows your history. You have a very specific situation. Don't think most of the trainers at a PF would have the background/training you need. No disrespect to PF. Most commercial big box gyms…

So who do you want sitting in the exit row of your flight or that of a loved one if there is an emergency? A morbidly obese person who paid the upcharge for the exit row seat or the Navy SEAL home on leave stuck 7 rows away because he/she couldn't afford the upgrade?
-
They have plenty of respect it you want to pay business or first class. People want $50 1000 mile flights and at the same time think they're entitled to a lazyboy recliner to sit in.
-
All might be true but still don't want the people in the exit rows sitting there for comfort and not being able to physically open the hatch.
-
Definitely bluetooth but no need to spend AirPods/Beats money for the gym.

I just get a pair of $20-$30 from Amazon or Best Buy. I've had the same pair for over a year, sound/work fine, don't care if I lose them. Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Bluetooth-Headphones-Microphone-Sweatproof-Earphones/dp/B07G3TTHQC/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1535166988&sr=8-5&keywords=bluetooth+headphones…

I would agree with the bolded, it's an odds thing. But you sure can't bring the dead back to life.

My son said the people in the exit row said they could do it. However my son said one was a 5 ft something almost 300 pound woman. The other was an guy about the same size. My son was worked in the fitness industry and he could tell from their appearance they had little functional strength and would be a hindrance to…

My son was on a flight yesterday. He sat right in front of the exit row. The people in the exit row said they would help in an emergency. My son noticed they were close to if not morbidly obese. I'm assuming they requested or paid extra so they could get the extra space. IMO, very bad precedent that could cost someone…

Looking around the US, seems to me so few people really have the BF % to be considering a bulk/cut as a way to gain muscle.
-
Most sources will say a male should not be bulking if bodyfat is over 15% (some sources will say lower). Do you do resistance work now? Couple good articles https://www.bodybuilding.com/content/5-common-bulking-blunders.html https://www.t-nation.com/training/truth-about-bulking IMO, for most people recomp, where you lift…

Bingo. I would love to see a detailed reconciliation of the difference between the US cost/person vs the industrialized world average. As an experienced business analyst/cost accountant, give me $750k, unlimited access to data and in a year, I'd have a full report  Might question the 1.5 factor vs the next highest.…

So you support healthcare paid entirely by the user either by cash or private insurance? How about those with no $. Or how about government employees (including the military) who have health insurance as part of their compensation?

Obesity is a controllable situation. Occupations that are considered "essential" yet somewhat hazardous to health have existed since the beginning of time. Hopefully if everyone woke up thin, the rate of increase is slowed. You'll have to get additional information from your elected representatives.
