Eat what you used to eat but less of it. Too many changes at once usually cause people to quit. It's all about calories in vs calories out when it comes to weight loss

My personal suggestion Eat the same foods you eat now, but less. But a food scale, weigh everything and log it. Once you got comfortable with that start introducing whatever you want and switch other foods out. If you try to do too much at the beginning it usually ends up in a disaster
