Lol, I have the same bike, though I bought mine used for $50. Your shifter only has +- on it because it isn't indexed(no set positions). You have to feel out the front shift because you may want to adjust it so that it doesn't make noise depending on what gear you're using in the back.

Just turn off the warning, I used to get it all the time before I turned it off. There's really no reason to limit your sugar intake if you're already limiting your calories.

Your speed probably isn't anything close to real world since the world record is ~32 MPH for an hour. I really wouldn't trust what either of those sources tell you how many calories were burned. Does your bike give you outputs like power?

Can we all agree that your calories in is probably the most important part of the equation since it's hard to out-train a bad diet?

Body fat is burned with a caloric deficit. Cardio burns more calories than lifting in the same amount of time. I'm not saying lifting weights isn't important, but if your primary goal is to lose weight(fat), then you are better off doing cardio if you only chose to do one.

I cook a weeks worth of dinners in one shot. Slow cookers are also your friend. Just dump meat + seasoning in there in the morning and you have dinner.

Since I have no idea on how tall you are or how much you weigh, my only advice is wear stuff that fits. If it's too baggy, you'll look bigger, if it's too tight you'll look pudgy and soft(unless you're shredded).
