I'll probably take a week off work when it comes out.
-
As someone who's moving there this fall, this is what I'm dreading most. Congrats to your Daughter!

What specifically do you want advice about?
-
I wouldn't worry about it. I've actually stopped tracking my "sugar" intake since I would go over it every day. I've consistently lost weight every week for two months now.
-
I find strava overestimates my calories expanded by a factor of around 2. I usually don't eat them back on the same day and just save all of them for the weekend or social occasions.

They're

Also the inability to spell abs.

I have no problem losing weight while drinking beer.....
-
Just fit it into your diet. As long as you're under your calorie goal for the day/week, I see no problem with enjoying a beer or three.
-
Try and average your calories out over the week so that one bad day doesn't matter as much.
-
Peanut-butter!

How much do you want to spend?
-
So I went through her diary, and it could be better. OP you need to start weighing stuff. Like your morning tea, it would be more accurate if you did tea + however much milk you put in it + however much sugar you put in it instead of "tea with whole milk and two sugars". I also can't really tell if you're eating take out…
-
I use my smart phone when outside and my cheap bike computer when indoors.
-
What kind of advanced degree do you have and where is it from?
-
That's pretty cool. I'll try and remember to do something similar.
-
4lb a week seem pretty extreme. I struggle to keep it at 2lb and most people already consider that unhealthy for my weight. Since you probably weigh a lot less than me, I'd really reconsider this.
-
My goal is to do at least 400 miles. More is always better though. This month I should also break my 1000 mile YTD mileage.
-
Most GPS apps have a feature that don't time you when you're stopped for a red light or something.

Tomorrow is a rest day for me, but I plan to ride Sunday. So far I've done 414 miles in 22 hours this month. I've done 22 rides in total.
-
I'm 5'11" 193. I cycle around 100 miles a week. I eat less for weight loss.
-
Again, 1800 calories is nowhere near the bare minimum.
-
Try doing some cardio so you can eat more? My dairy is open so I'm not going to copy and paste out of it.
-
I'm your height, I eat less than that. It's you'll be hungry for a little while, but you'll get used to it.
-
1800 seems like a lot to be hungry at.
-
Just adjust your caloric intake to your activity level. There's probably no specific food you should be eating. Eat what you want, just make it fit your calories.
