Thanks to VA's lack of priorities in patient care, I haven't been able to ride for awhile. After receiving what I've been waiting for, for 2 weeks now. I was able to get out and ride for 5 miles today. Nearly 80 degrees, Sunny, Slight Breeze and Heavy Traffic. Felt good to ride again. Pleasantly surprised I made after being sidelined for so long.

Just coming off of a nerve impingement in my neck. Got a new Trek DS 8.3 last month that I am finally able to ride! Been out 4 times in the past 8 days.

It isn't the healthiest mid-ride treat, but I'm addicted and they are discontinuing their rocky road iced coffee mix. There is a dairy farm with great homemade ice cream that I can get to about half way through a century ride - and truthfully that is a major reason why I tackle such a long, and hilly, route!

I Loved the severe Thunderstorms that moved in about halfway through the ride. Nothing to get the pedals turning when you can actually feel the Thunder as the Lightening strikes nearby. I Loved Every Second Of It!!! Though it did cut my ride to only 2.25miles, oh well.0
