This too. I'd rather eat foods that nature my body, then foods that do it no good.

This is my response too.

I think yes you do need to eat more, because if you are eating 1200 calories and burning about 300-400 calories a run, that leaves your daily intake too low. It leaves you on 800-900 calories, which is far from enough. You should be eating 1200 calories minimum after exercise.

I have had anorexia for 10 years. It's not a pretty picture, many times I stopped eating for over 30 days and ended up in hospital being tube fed, being very sick. Which lead to being in hospital for months. I was having 6 different needles a day, I had refereeing syndrome, I was in starvation mode ( I was eating under 500…

I just upload my recipes, it doesn't take too long.

Sad but true, that is why I pay no attention to the new diet fads or research.

I have hypoglycaemia (non diabetic) what i find helps is carbs and healthy fats. Half peanut butter sandwich helps (or if it is bad a whole one) or full fat greek yogurt helps, or a handful of nuts really works too. :)

No this is so someone who has studied in science and chemistry of food at university.
-
I agree because there is so much more to it
-
I agree, also there is more to being healthy than what you weigh.

I think we have complicated eating,it should be simple, not a science/maths session. I try to eat as close to nature as possible, but I need to eat a gf diet. So that alone proves how we all need a different "diet" I refuse to uear any diet foods, I try to eat "whole" foods, full cream dairy etc
-
That would be interesting to see :)

I would rather fuel my body with healthy, fresh food. Maybe a 80/20 diet? If you put poor food into your body you can not expect much. I'd rather 200 calories in nuts then chips etc.
-
That would be pointless unless the people in both groups had exactly the same metabolism, everything would have to be identical.

In the most basic terms, all calories are created equal. A calorie is simply a unit for measuring energy. But the way in which the body uses those calories is what accounts for different weight loss results. The origin of a calorie determines how the body digests and stores that energy. For example, the body uses calories…

Exactly.

It turns out, some calories count more than others. Sure, there are 100 calories in two tablespoons of chocolate chips, and the very same 100 calories in broccoli. But there’s a huge difference in the way that they affect your appetite, your energy level, and your long-term health. Again, it’s not just how much you eat,…
