lol. I am 5 foot 7 and 126 pounds. I would lose a pound a week on a 2000 calorie diet. If you want a higher TDEE, get off the couch and earn it! If you compare yourself to the "average" woman you are more likely to be "average". If you want something to aspire to choose a better role model. "Average" these days means…

If you have been running for about a month, based on your current 3 mile time, weight and age I bet you could hit your goal in less than 2 months assuming proper mileage. You have not been running long and progress will come fastest for new runners like yourself. One month after I started running my 5k time was about 25…

If you can make chips fit your macros I see no problem with eating a lot of them. Try training for an ultra marathon. The calories provided by all the running should make it possible fit the chips into your calorie/macro targets. I know I can eat a lot of chips but while running 300 miles a month + other exercise I am not…

1 pound a week sounds like a lot to me. I am happy to lose weight at half that pace. 14 weeks = 7 pounds and my GW:)
-
why not just count calories?
-
If you like parkour you may like Tough Mudder type obstacle runs too!
-
Keep up the great work! You can do it

I don't care if people log in or comment on my posts. I only delete people that make excuses and blame others for things they can control themselves.

I am glad things are going well so far! As others have said, just stick with the program and don't be afraid to repeat weeks as needed. I do do have 2 suggestions: 1. A caloric deficit is great for losing weight, but too large of a deficit will sap your energy and make running more difficult. I am glad you are planning on…

Well done!

Great work so far everyone!

It can be done! Here is a clip of a fat man running the 100m Olympic trials: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l2COMAEgklM Here is a 400lb sumo wrestler who runs marathons: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rm07iPOl4ko Just keep running and your fitness will improve. Of course as you lose weight, running will become easier

Work harder!

Feel free to add me as well. My goal weight of 121 is similar to yours.

You know what, I think you are right and I apologize. I may have misinterpreted things and missed some context. Perhaps I was annoyed at the percentage of threads where people are blaming others instead of taking responsibility. OP, congratulations on your success so far and keep up the good work!

It sounds to me like you answered your own question!

Feel free to add me as well

haha nice pic! Hopefully those teeth will scare away those who came to MFP looking for cheerleaders instead of intellectual discussion.
-
I hope your husband and son never read what you wrote because it was not fair. The fact that they want to gain weight does not mean you are being sabatoged. It means you are making excuses. No amount of "support" from MFP friends will help if you continue to make excuses. Just count calories like everyone else and make…

If you want to quit that is fine but you will probably lose your tolerance and your beer pong game may suffer. Another option would be to consume beverages that have more alcohol per calorie so that you consume fewer calories before getting drunk. http://getdrunknotfat.com/

Congratulations! My sister likes the zombie apps too.

1. No excuses 2. Learn how to count That is all that is required, really!

People ask me "how do you eat so much and stay so skinny?" I answer "because I run 300 miles a month while you sit on your *kitten*"
-
I usually run almost everywhere and don't have a car at school. I like sports cars but am afraid if I ask for one my parents will buy me a Volvo instead (for safety reasons). Maybe I will just stick to running until I can afford to buy the car I want on my own. lol
-
lol. My friend caused a fire once by putting tin foil in the microwave while drunk.
-
Caffeine can be an appetite suppressant for some people. Personally I love caffeine and would never quit. However don't use caffeine as an excuse not to hit your calorie or macro goals. If you are hungry, eat more, just exercise more to compensate #no excuses

Since you are type 1 diabetic, I think you should go talk to your doctor.

I want to run about 300 miles and lose about 2 pounds. I don't need to hit those targets exactly as long as I am close. I also want to improve my lifting form. Not sure how to measure that. Perhaps I can record videos to be graded later.

Glad to hear you survived! When is your first half marathon?
-
Based on your 2 mile time, I estimate you could run a 5k tomorrow in about 40 minutes. Just slow down to about a 13 min/mile pace. Your problem is common. You are running too fast for your current level of aerobic conditioning. Keep adding more mileage but don't run any faster than a 13 min/mile pace. Speed will come…
