Probably water and food weight. Weigh yourself in another few days.

Shredded chicken breast, Romaine lettuce, Caesar salad dressing, grated Parmesan cheese.

Thanks for the post and spreadsheet link. I downloaded the spreadsheet and modified it by adding a chart to it and I created a column and formula that shows lbs/week lost. After sixteen weeks I can see that my average loss is in the range of 1.4 - 1.6 lbs/week.

I do 4 cycles of 30 secs work/30 secs rest with a jump rope after my strength training (3x week). Then rest the other days.

I take Wellbutrin and because of a racquetball injury, I take Aleve. Both of these list constipation as a possible side effect. Once I figured that out I googled around and found this - http://www.goodrx.com/blog/constipation-from-your-meds-whats-the-best-treatment/

I have often found a recipe on www of the item I ate. I copy the url, click on the Recipe link in MFP and paste it in the field. I let MFP compute the calories and I enter the result in my log.

You can't manage what you can't measure.

Know thyself. Know what I have learned. In other words I will be logging as long as I am eating.

Great post. I chose the latest in the series - New Rules of Lifting Supercharged. I like how the author explains the theory of getting stronger. He also includes balance and coordination exercises. Lastly, he provides ready-made programs no matter what level you are.

Peanut butter on whole wheat English muffin. I just rediscovered oatmeal (porridge) and like the poster above, I add dried or fresh fruit.
-
Have you considered copying (click and drag) the recipe text and pasting it in a word processing document - My Favorite Recipes. Then you can do a search in that file.

I'm no doctor but it could be overuse and the muscle is inflamed. Apply heat for 20 minutes. Take Aleve if you use pain relievers. Do this daily. Stay away from the weights for a while. Sometimes it takes a few days, a few weeks or a few months to heal.

You can "star" it by clicking on the icon in upper right. Then access it by clicking on the star at top of page. There might be slicker techniques but this what I do.

http://ndb.nal.usda.gov/ndb/foods I entered sirloin steak tips and came up with 162 cals for 4 oz. raw

I didn't binge on Lex but it had other side effects on me. Doctor put me on bupropion (Wellbutrin) and this is working for anxiety/depression. See your doctor and also consider seeing a therapist, too.

Go to Goodwill and see if you can score a juicer there. I see them for $8 or so. Take it home and try it out. If you really enjoy juicing than maybe you keep the one you just bought or maybe research Consumer Reports (at the library). I thought they were a pain in the __ to clean when had one 30 years ago. Good luck.

Ask your gym staff. Maybe they have an someone on staff that can help introduce you to their machines, etc. My membership included a free one-time consultation with a trainer.

Here is a good article on portion sizes - http://www.everydayhealth.com/diet-nutrition-pictures/picturing-proper-portion-sizes.aspx#01

I make my own basic vinaigrette. 5T olive oil 3T vinegar (sometimes balsamic) The above ratio can be adjusted to your taste. Sometimes I go 50/50. 2T Dijon mustard 1/4t salt 1/4t pepper (optional 1 clove garlic minced)

I swim once a week. I used to do the american stroke for 30 minutes but that kind of got boring even though I got into a nice rhythmic groove. I now warm up casually for five minutes and then I swim as fast as I can for one length and then wade back one length and repeat 12 times. I do it for aerobics (if that term is…

A serving bowl is not a serving of what you put into it.

Long story short - my doctor prescribed Bupropion XL and it was all I needed to kick-start me.

I jog on the local high school football artificial turf only. I do this twice weekly for 20 minutes only. The carpet goes all the way to the track and that's where I jog. Maybe six laps or so - real slow - injury-free. I miss the longer distances I ran in my youth but my knees can't that much impact nowadays.

My wife and I enjoy Skinny Cow products. Costco carries the SC ice cream sandwich. 20 for $10. 150 calories - 30/2/4 Carb/Fat/Protein grams

I gained weight on Lexapro (I wasn't logging food at the time) but lost weight on Bupropion. The change in medication seemed to switch on some sort of mental physical connection and suppressed my appetite. Good luck.

I could just as easily use a spreadsheet to track calories and macros. Creating a database and spreadsheet is exercise for the brain. I would never pay for MFP food diary service.
-
I've had a few days in the 75 days I've been tracking. I will choose something and eat half of it and then I wait to see if I require the other half. Sometimes all I need is some chicken broth.
