Truthful weighing and logging. These habits work for maintaining weight, too.

http://rainydaygal.com/2011/07/18/chicken-teriyaki/ I either grill or bake the thighs. It's real simple.

Joined Nautilus Plus in 1993 @ $10/month. Was grandfathered-in at Bally's and then LA Fitness at $10/month. They lose money on me with the long, hot saunas and showers I take after my workouts.

173lbs, 5'7", 33x30, Large t-shirt and button down. I'm hardly an athletic or muscular body type - just sorta "average." I can still grab about 1-1 1/2" roll of fat at my waist.

I just spooned a heaping 2T (didn't weigh it) of cottage cheese over a Quaker Oats rice cake (white cheddar flavored). Easily under a 100 calorie snack. And added some fresh ground black pepper. Not bad. This gave me an idea of putting a slice (.75-1.0 oz.) of cheddar cheese on a rice cake and broiling it.

I started to wonder about the difference between what many MFPers call a "cheat" day and diet break as prescribed by vismal above. I used 1700 calories/day for cutting and 2200 calories/day for cheating (maintaining). If I cheat 1 day out of 7, that is 1/7 or 14.3% of the time (a window of 7 days) I am maintaining. Now if…

I have these all the time (but one per meal). In all honesty the sandwiches I make are not your typical cheesy-gooey kind but the flavor is still there. Here's how I do it. 180 cal - 2 slices of bread 140 cal - 34 grams of Tillamook sharp cheddar cheese (pre-sliced) 8 cal - 2 x 1/4" tomato slices 50 cal - butter - I take…

I was in Marketing for a major craft beer company out here in the Northwest. My team leader would fast from beer (any alcohol) once a year for a month. Obviously he always chose February. :)

I did my first diet break of one week after being on a 1 lb/wk deficit program since February. I made sure I logged my additional 500 daily calories. I don't know if doing this had anything to do with a breaking through a 4 week stall but after one week back on my cutting diet, I was down 3 lbs.

true that

You convinced me. It's time to replace the dead battery in my Fitbit One and get out the door.

Snack at night if you have to but eat less during the day. I can easily consume a couple hundred calories on my refrigerator raids post midnight. I just log them for the next day. Good luck.

I am just starting the third basic workout in NROL-Supercharged. I like the variety of the routines so far. They challenge me in different ways. It's not just lifting weights (iron), however, later in the program there is more iron. If you can go to a book store and thumb through a copy to see if it might interest you.

I guess if you look at that way, yeah it is not too shabby. I was just used to the trend line dropping at a steeper angle and my weight well below the line. Thanks for the different perspective.

I had a bike fit and a shoe fit. If your foot is not properly placed and you don't have the right amount of float, it can affect the knee joints. You can thank me later.

Maybe you can send a pm to CyberTone. He seems to be the resident geek on the forum. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/user/CyberTone/profile/CyberTone?target=&redirected=true

Have you gone to Settings > Diary settings and pulled down to choose Fiber. I would assume that any food you logged in the past would then show Fiber. Just thinking out loud.

Seek medical advice with a professional if you have an injury.

Too much too soon is a recipe for injury. As you said, "Pace yourself."

130 grams of protein is what percentage of your daily calories?

Try working out M-W-F only and see how your body responds.

I guess you can do as many as you want but you are strengthening the same muscles. For hitting a variety of core muscles you could try Pilates ab sculpting https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PDW8BfkBio4&index=3&list=RDYW2eRv4kCag I like core exercises in New Rules for Lifting - Supercharged. The same author wrote New Rules…

Nothing to worry about unless you are not honest with your weight and measures. I can flucuate 2-3 lbs in a day.

try the desktop version and see what happens. hopefully it will sync the mobile app. Good luck
-
A little bit of tough love here - Remind yourself of why you are even concerned. Wake up your self control. Remember you can eat more once you've met your goal - the sooner the better. Good luck.
