Sounds like overuse to me. Take a break with the impact workout. Incorporate swimming into your workout.

I've subscribe to Stew Smith's version. If it's good 'nuf for a former Navy Seal, it's good 'nuf for me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MBjltlc3x8c

I eat salmon once a week. I buy the frozen Atlantic salmon from Costco. Just follow directions on package (thawed). It's hard to beat salt, pepper, butter or olive oil and fresh squeezed lemon as seasonings. My favorite is Kikkoman Triple Ginger and Garlic Marinade/Sauce/Glaze.

Congratulations. Easy does it. Ride a little each day so your body gets used to the bike.

Perhaps. I think you only need so much cardio to be heart-fit. Any additional cardio should be for the enjoyment of doing the movement or the social aspect if it's done with someone. Back to the OP, cardio is not required for weight loss.

Cardio is important to heart health. I'm no cardiologist but I think the law of diminishing returns applies to how much cardio we need. My cardio is my play time - racquetball, swimming, biking and hiking.

I always say, "You can't manage what you can't measure." I have been tracking my finances for over 25 years with Quicken software and it has helped my identify my spending habits. Over those same years, it was only when I kept a food/calorie journal was I able to lose and maintain my weight.

If you mean fast foods then check out - http://nutritiondata.self.com/ Enter the food item at the very top and you will get many listings. As for local places, I just try and remember the ingredients and create a recipe in MFP.

I took a peek at your diary. You don't eat many veggies or fruits. One day you ate 1.25 cups of cheese - that's like a cork to some people. I'd suggest drink lots of water, increase your fruits (especially dried prunes) and veggies. Good luck.

^This and I stretch afterwards. I also have a stretching program with a fitness ball that I perform sometime in the day.

Check out Youtube for bodyweight exercise videos.

I don't have a cheat day because it sounds like I'm doing deceiving. My daily total calories is 1765 and I save about 200 calories for an evening treat - usually something with ice cream or something my wife has baked. If for some reason that doesn't happen, I will eat some other food item to make my calorie goal.

As a teenager I helped out on an egg farm. If as you took a freshly laid egg and dropped it on the henhouse floor, there would be a scuffle of hens for the goal of eating what they could of the egg - even the hen that laid the egg.

Order a soup and/or salad. It's harder to eat these on the way home.

I agree and I try to buy it when it's on sale close to pull date. Otherwise, I buy Kirkland Greek yogurt.

I chose it based upon body fat %.

^This. Costco carries it locally.

I use a Bialetti Moka Express brewer (1 cup) and add 1/4 cup heated milk for my morning cup and eliminate the milk for my afternoon cup. http://www.bialetti.com/coffee/stovetop/moka-express-c-1_7_22.html

Ten dollars/month at LA Fitness. My original contract with Nautilus Plus (1993) was transferred to Bally's Fitness and then to LA Fitness. They lose money on me because of my long, hot showers.

Optimum Nutrition 100% Gold Standard Whey Protein - 24 grams protein, 120 calories - from Costco

I used to be in the "anything worth doing is worth over-doing" mindset...until injuries plagued me. Then I couldn't do anything at all. My wife told me I'd be injury-free and healthier if I just sat on the couch. You are stressing your body (in a good way) by lifting. But your body needs rest to repair the micro-tears in…

Do something you like to do - indoors or outdoors. A sign at our fitness club says to limit cardio machine to 20 minutes if people are waiting to use the machine - so that's how long I do cardio. Period.
-
Give your body a well-deserved rest. Spend some time in a Jacuzzi if you can.
-
I awaken most nights - like right now. I just eat if I am hungry (starting with half of something and if I need more I eat the other half) and log the calories as Post Midnight.

^This. And ask your physician to evaluate you for some level of depression.

Twenty years ago, my resting HR was 44. Doctor had me take a stress test and found nothing wrong. Twenty years later I'm at 46. If you are really concerned, see your doctor.

I was surprised, too, when I weighed my daily apple slices. Now I often eat only a half an apple as that satisfies the taste I am after. On another note, it is rare that I eat a whole banana anymore - only a half banana goes into my smoothie.
