I know this all to well. I wish I had a solution to share with you. ☹ I suffer from this too but have learned a couple of my triggers - excess stress & PMS. I lose ALL control & will even hide from my family in the garage & eat secretly. I will look in the mirror & ask why are you doing this to yourself with tears…

I'm glad to hear back from so many other Missourians! Thanks for all the positive feedback everyone!

Thanks for all the kind words everyone. I'm not one who likes to be in the spotlight so this is way out of my comfort zone for me. But I am getting plenty of practice at it....I just finished doing an interview for the evening news on how to keep your New Year's resolutions.

115 pounds down!

My goal was to lose 130 pounds, I've got 24 pounds to go. I workout 7 days a week 1 3/4 - 2 hours a day. I have gained a lot of muscle along the way so I might need to re-evaluate my goal but I think I could definitely lose another 15 lbs.

Congratulations and thanks for sharing! It's really helpful to see progress pics with someone similar to me. I'm 5'4" also and tipped the scales at my heaviest at 271; down to 183 now with 50lbs lost in the past 5 months. I agree, shopping for smaller clothes is a great reward.

I generally take my C4 on an empty stomach. Twice a week my workouts are 2 1/2 hours long so I'll have a banana for the extra carbs before I take my C4. Neither bother my stomach.

Anyone can add me as well. My diary is open to friends & I log everything faithfully.

No rest days for me.... I run a mile (or 2) everyday plus row 2000m AND: M/W/F - Bootcamp T/Th/Sat/Sun - Zumba & Abs Mondays I also do an hour group training session with a mix of cardio intervals & strength training.
-
In addition to weights I would also suggest using the row machine if your gym has one. I've been rowing 2000m everyday for almost 4 weeks now & I'm starting to see some definition in my upper back. I love it because it works so many muscles at one time!

I've improved my RHR since I started using my fitbit surge in December; from 70 down to 54. I think it's because I've increased my cardio with more running & rowing & I'm down 43 lbs. I'm actually still considered obese for my height for another 10 lbs so I imagine it will only improve as I continue to lose more weight.
