  • @ProCoffeenator...WOW! What great talent!
  • @RowdysLady, love your new look!
  • Good Morning! Beautiful night of rain and thunderstorms! A rarity here. Okay, I got caught up on all the posts and got my inspiration for the day...a sunny one. So...here I go. Enjoy your day. :)
  • Self-Sabotage...Story of my life, especially when real life gets rough! Threads like these are extremely helpful.
  • Yup!! Me too. Thanks for the reminder @samanthaluangphixay.
  • I agree with everything you just said. I like to focus on my Macros and as long as I'm WNL for my goals there, I'm happy. I really don't pay too much to the daily calories because it all averages out at the end of the week or month. Sometimes I'm too low and can't complete my Diary for the day. The busier I stay, the less…
  • Thanks so much @supergal3! I'm feeling great and so stoked. Very successful On Plan Day, today. Upped my daily mileage total to 6.8 miles. Activity Level doubled (I use Apple watch, very motivating). It's finally cooling down for us in AZ, so I pulled out the shop vac and did some deep cleaning. Whoa, I feel some muscles…
  • http://alldayidreamaboutfood.com/2015/05/top-10-tips-for-getting-back-on-track-with-your-low-carb-diet.html Got lost for an hour in the above link!! Thanks...great info!
  • Oh...and thanks for the welcome @Cadori.
  • Happy Friday All! I'm so happy, I finally broke my cycle of binge-ing on drinking HWC with Salted Caramel Syrup (Torani) at midnight after taking the dogs out for their potty break. I survived 2 nights with a cup of tea or two, by 9PM and nothing more until morning except water! I feel much better and more energetic the…
  • String Cheese and H.B eggs!! I tend to binge on the cheese, so I decided to not keep it in the house. Too much sodium and fluid retention the next day...devastating results on the scale, I know it's just water weight...BUT!!
  • After reading the whole LCD Chat for the past two days, I've decided to take the PLUNGE!! I'm a retired RN, hitting 70, in January. I feel 30. I've been on LCHF, starting with the original Atkins in 1970, after giving birth to my oldest son. So, I've been on or off for 46 years!! I used to run 7 miles, every morning until…
  • Avocado, tomato, HWC. I'm at 20g or under and feel very energetic. If I go much higher, I tend to feel sluggish and less focused.
  • I use the liquid Aprivia brand (Kroger). Sweeter than the packets and zero carb. Delicious in coffee with heavy whipping cream. I drink this as a sweet treat, when I've had enough black coffee and want a change.
  • I drink a lot of this in cooler weather. AZ summers are too hot for this warming treat. But cooler weather is coming. I drink it mid-afternoon as a pick-me-up, using Almond Milk and adding cinnamon, cardamon, nutmeg, and ginger to the turmeric.
  • I have a problem with peanut butter...I can't stop at one serving!! So...I don't have it in the house. I'm lucky, I live alone!
  • I love my Apple watch! It has so many pros, no cons for me. The visual Activity is a real motivator.
  • I've been trying to install this script, but Chrome won't let me even though I have Tampermonkey installed. I'd appreciate any help/suggestions. Posted a request for script to eliminate calorie column in another Forum, yesterday...Oy Vay!! Big mistake, lol.
  • Thanks everyone!
  • I totally agree!
  • Calories don't count for me, low carb works for me, has for many years. No magic... but for my body, calorie counting has never worked. Probably because of a pre-disposition to diabetes which is hereditary in my family. I have maintained current weight level for a few years, not counting calories but watching carb intake.
  • I have been on one since my oldest son was born in 1970. It works well for me because it includes all my favorite foods. I don't care for sweets or starches. Once a week I eat pizza for Family Pizza night, but find myself eating the toppings and hot wings more than anything else!! By the way, thanks for the LC link in MFP.…
