Thanks @FredDoyle - good point. It was just hard to visualize what 2300 mg of sodium was and the idea that just a teaspoon of salt would contain a whole day's worth of sodium is kind of eye-opening.

@erinashm - I was just reminded to drink LOTS of water. In addition to keeping you hydrated, it takes up room in your stomach.

@SlimEsq - Thanks for the "LOT of water" reminder. It made me remember that when I've spent the week at Scout Camp and there are only the three meals provided every day, I never seemed hungry. Maybe that was the work of the 8 Nalgenes per day I was drinking to stay hydrated. (DUH he said to himself!)
