Day 8, 1, done! I upped my weights to 3 lbs., so I really felt the burn! Isn't anyone else gonna do the workout, too, or are you all "phoning it in"? JK ;)

Try to eat healthy, LOTS of protein?

Day 7, lvl. 1 done! I still get very sweaty during the workout but I'm finding that my recovery is improving so that I'm not as winded!
-
Day 6, lvl. 1 done, and tomorrow I'll increase the weight again! @Cheryl_dancer, I do the workout 6 days a week and rest on Sunday. (I also massage the sore parts of my body when they need it.) :)

Day 5, lvl. 1, done! Got a question, though. I've found that my endurance has improved greatly since day 1, and thus I don't think I'm sweating as much. Does this mean that my results will plateau (and maybe I should do the video 1 1/2 times), or should I just increase the intensity of the workout?

Yay, Sunday = rest day!
-
Lvl. 1, day 4. I just doubled my weights from 1 lb. to 2 lbs., so I'm really working up a sweat now. I will get results!!
-
Day 3, level 1. Loving the burn!!
-
I started the 30 day shred on Wednesday, and I just finished day 2 of lvl. 1. I'd love friends/support!! :) :) :)

Despite the incredible soreness, I finished Day 2 Lvl. 1!!
-
And I think I'll rest Sat-Sunday, so that'd be 5 days every week for me.
-
I just finished Day 1; Level 1. I wanted to give up at 15 min (push-ups along with jumping jacks and jump rope always get me), but I pushed through and did the entire thing. I'd love some friends and support!

And at my height and weight, is losing 1 lb. a week too fast?
-
I've been recently calorie counting for the past few months, but I've found an even more effective way to "calorie" count than that. Sometimes I've gotten lazy and not added the stuff I'm eating because I know that it's gonna take time to find the right thing to eat to count. So instead of counting everything, I do this…

Totally forward. :)

A boyfriend (which is partly the reason why I'm losing weight), chocolate truffles, Krispy Kreme doughnuts, and some of the flan that just came out of the oven.

If you lose more than 2 lbs. a week, then it could be water weight that you're losing. The only way to lose TRUE fat is to lose no more than 2 lbs. a week. Any more than that, and it could be muscle since your body can't survive on 200 calories a day!

Thanks a bunch, Alyssamontezino! And I don't know why you're on this site because you look so beautiful and don't look as though you need to lose any weight whatsoever!!

On a random note, does anyone find it hard to stay under their calorie goal when they're eating lots of fast/restaurant food instead of home cooking it all? Or is it easier?

For lunch I had some of my own homemade granola along with some Danan yogurt. For dinner I had some of my mom's delicious homemade chicken stew, along with one of my own homemade pretzels that I made yesterday. Really good! Oh, and I had milk, too. (I really like to homemake my own food. I've even homemade peanut butter,…

Let's do this! I've only got 8 lbs to go before I re-evaluate how much more weight I need to lose (if any, or just gain muscle and bulk up), and I feel like I've hit a little depressive/hunger slump. Motivation and friendship would be appreciated!

I do Figuraerobics (Look it up on Youtube) and in the video is an amazing Korean woman named Jung Dayeon who lost like 30 lbs. ((If you want motivation to lose weight, just look at those girls and guys in the video!!)). I also do Pilates by Cassie Ho for arms, back, legs, and core. It's a great workout and I can see some…

Hey! I recently went from 165 to 138, and I want to get down to 130. I only have 2 more months (of 1 lb. a week) to go!! Any motivation and and friend-adds would be appreciated! I'm in the home stretch now, but I wanna give a shout-out that you should NEVER GIVE UP! ~ A year from now, you'll wish you had started today. ~…

On a random note, what's your favorite exercise? I for one can't stand running (I've got a pear body shape), but I'm fine with brisk walking uphill. I adore and excell at swimming, and do that whenever I can (however, I can't get out to our pool in the winter months in MN.) Should just get to the gym instead. :)

That's so true. Actually, everyone in my family (including myself) doesn't take any advice from anyone else in the family. I think it's a trait that we all sadly share.

Yeah, he says that he can't go back to lifting weights (there's actually a weight set in our basement that's gathering dust) because he doesn't have a spotter. I certainly couldn't spot the amount of weight he lifts (300 easily). I get that, but it's still excuse city. Now (me, his daughter) is the one using all those…

I was 5' 6", 165, and wanting to lose 35 lbs. Now I'm at 138 and close to my goal! Only 8 lbs. left!!!!!

I (luckily) don't have a big addiction to soda. Call me lucky, but the only soda I drink is a Root Beer now and then. I love sweets, though. Chocolate, especially chocolate pudding, and truffles, caramel and chocolate pecan bars, cheesecake, peanut butter cookies, ice cream . . . I'd better stop before I go eat over my…
