Hi there! Everyone here is right! Having a low body fat percentage will definitely help them pop out. But if your abs aren't developed enough there is no point in getting down to that percentage. Having thick developed abs will help them pop. The trouble is doing heavy weighted ab training can increase your waist line. I…

Yeppers they're are shaker cup friendly. You just might have to shake a little longer than the usual whey protein haha

Yeah that's the one I use. 1900 cals with milk for a full serving. I split the serving in half then takes those halves after a workout and before bed. chocolate and cookies n cream are the only good tasting ones. But yeah if you don't have time to make your own, it's pretty handy.

I've been using dymatize's super mass gainer for a while now and it's pretty awesome. It brought my cals up to 4000 a day. I have a crazy metabolism so it is greatly loved. It's a little expensive. 40 dollars for a 12 pound bag that lasts 16 days. I've been cutting the servings in half to prolong it's use. Overall it's…

You'll get it man!! If you've bulked times before the muscle gained compared to the earlier bulks is naturally gonna be less. Well at least thats what steve cook said haha
-
Nice bro!! 10 lbs in 8 weeks is crazy awesome! I wish I had your metabolism. Been eating 4000 cals for about 4 months now and have gained 13 lbs
-
that's awesome!! Bulking is a lot of fun! Waaaaaaaay funner than cutting. people get incredibly angry on a cut
-
AWESOME!!! Having a friend with the same goal always helps

If your imbalance is substantial, maybe go see a chiropractor and see if they can re align you. Other than that, one side of the body is normally weaker than the other

Lol good one!!!

[/quote]Interesting. I've heard of transformations in which lean guys have still been able to keep a six pack even after gaining about 20 pounds. I think this is where individual body differences in hormones and nutrient partitioning become apparent. Some people may be at an advantage and have an easier time than others.…

4000 cals a day. Bulking to gain more strength, then cutting. At 165 lbs only a crappy 250 lb squat.

Hi! I'm a 19 year old male. I suffered from anorexia for around 3 years. It was really bad at age 15. I weighed 104 at 5'7. Always felt bad about myself but then I started taking charge for myself. Started lifting and dialed in my diet. Diet is crucial. It was all a mindset. I had and still have an almost obsession of…

Hi there! Keeping your six pack will not happen after gaining 20 lbs. I bulked for 2 years gained 21.3 lbs to be exact. Was at 10.something percent body fat at the end. My eight pack was gone!! Sucked. Only had two abs left. Good luck though

Eat more like rainbowbow said. And by lifting heavy do you mean reps of like 5-8? # of Sets? for some people lifting heavy with low rep ranges can build good muscle but that's mostly for strength training. Most people have to hit rep ranges between 6-12 to build muscle. Good luck! Hope you accomplish your goals!

Wow all of these recommendations are way better than mine lol. I just have a mass gainer protein shake, packet of oatmeal, 2 eggs, and a little fruit.

Hey man! I was in your exact same situation! I was 5'7 106 lbs my sophomore year of hs. Thank god I started lifting. Anyway read up on bodybuilding every chance you get. Bodybuilding.com is an amazing source of information. Your full body workout are definitely what a beginner is recommended to do but I never did those.…

On a caloric deficit, when lifting and wanting to keep as much strength as possible, you NEED to lift heavy. Since you're not new to lifting (3 or 4 years of lifting) it's gonna come down to intensity. If you get a PT make sure they're a good one. Having a certificate does not make them knowledgeable by any means

Hi! I'm also look for friends! can't stay motivated to reach my goals by myself all the time.

First American! Texan to be exact. Add me if you'd like. I kinda have the opposite goal of the majority of people on MFP though...to gain weight

IIFYM doesn't just have to do with protein. I'm sure you know but just in case...it has to do with the most important nutrients to reach a goal of weight loss or weigh gain. It consists of protein, carbs, and fat. MFP sets your macros to your individual goals so just make sure to especially watch you fats. Also an analogy…
