  • Personally I would try eating a bit more. Maybe do a reverse diet, where you add 50-100 extra calories each week and see what happens. Perhaps your metabolism is a bit sluggish. Personally I would struggle to do all that exercise on 1200 calories a day!
  • A chocolate biscuit around 100 calories works for me. Or sometimes a mint or two.
  • For the salad, I think its best to avoid putting any dressing on until you want to eat it (I keep my dressing in a separate pot or just use a bottle of balsamic vinegar). Also, maybe keeping any veggies separate from the lettuce may help too and use a crunchy more robust lettuce. No idea with fruit salad except for lots of…
  • Dieting can impact serotonin (feel good chemical) levels in the brain, especially in women. You can supplement serotonin (e.g. 5-HTP) which might help you and can also have a mild appetite suppressing effect.…
  • For me personally, I like Jillian Michaels Yoga DVDs as they are just 30 minutes and quite fast paced (rather than just relaxing). I also feel like I get a good stretch. Otherwise the Body Balance Les Mills classes which you can stream online (for a fee) are really good.

  • Chocolate protein shake with a cup of non fat milk and a cup of either frozen raspberries or strawberries - whip up in a blender for 20-30 seconds and can even drink on the go! This is quite filling and quick. Or do overnight oats - layer up some oats, yogurt, berries and seeds/nuts if you like. Leave in the fridge…
  • Yes - totally - Max Interval Circuit is unbelievable! I got to 23 mins to go this morning and I was ready to collapse! Made it though and felt great but I can't imagine anyone would find that easy!
  • I just started month 2 this week - eek! I didn't have many issues with month 1 - didn't suffer with aches and pains etc but after 2 workouts of month 2 I ache all over! But its great to feel the progress - I know I would have struggled more a month ago than where I am now. (I skipped the recovery week as I couldn't face it…
  • A little sore/tight muscles but not too bad. Feel fitter already!
  • Yes started last week, loving it!
  • Love Jillian DVDs - I own almost all of them and they are all good. Amazon do great bundles where you get 4 or 5 in a box in they are great as you get some variety and great value for money. The yoga ones are good and my personal faves are 6 week 6 pack and one week shred for high impact cardio.
  • Love my watch and find the step counting very accurate. Exercise calories do come out low compared to machines and also a little to my polar heart rate monitor I used to use, but that's ok and stops me thinking I'm burning loads more than I am! Find it very motivating. My only gripe is it isn't great at distances indoors…
  • I don't think it is that unusual to put on 10lbs and fit into the same clothes. A while ago I put on 14lbs and still fitted into many (although not all) of my clothes from when I was smaller. It depends on how tightly fitted the clothes are... But I felt better and more comfortable when I lost the weight.... In terms of…
  • Frozen berry fruits - very low calories but delicious and so cold they last forever! Also, a cup of herbal tea helps reduce my food cravings...
  • I like either a soup which is filling and low calorie and perhaps a couple of slices of lean ham, or if very low calorie a small piece of bread. You can get great tinned soups or make it yourself with veg and stock etc. Alternatively Subway do great salads which are really filling and tasty but only around 135 calories…
