I am so glad I invested in a food scale. I was surprised at how many things I underestimated and how few things were over estimated. I was also surprised about how many prepackaged items are heavier than what they say. Best $15 dollars spent on a kitchen accessory.

Agreed, unless you have the dog seat belts in the front. I learned my lesson the hard way with my brother's dog. I'm lucky though my dog only has three legs so he justs wants to lay down in the back because standing up causes him to feel too off balanced.

You have done great so far. Love all the tattoos by the way.

My Dad, (a former smoker) tells me to quit every time I smoke because he watched what happened to his own father. I tell him I'll quit when I'm ready and since I'm an adult he respects that. If someone doesn't like smoke or doesn't allow smoking I don't do it. I have a friend who is asthmatic and I make a point to not…

If you're referring to me, I never claimed to be a bad *kitten*. I just don't give a *kitten* about what people who mean nothing to me think. There is a significant difference.

Who cares if it offends someone? I'm an adult making a legal choice. If someone is offended it is their problem, not mine.

I personally would avoid using a machine next to someone if another one was open. As a smoker and an adult it is my decision to smoke, just like some people choose to overload on spray and that God awful Axe stuff. I'm not oblivious to the fact I smell like a smoker, but it's my choice, so in public I could really give two…

Having kids. I realized I wanted to be around for them and active with them as long as I could. Also, my Dad having heart surgery this past year really made me dial back in to healthy living and having my yearly bloodwork show higher than normal sugar and bad cholesterol levels. I realized I needed to lose the ten pounds…

I've done it. I lost weight on it, and I kept it off until I got pregnant with my third, even after reintroducing carbs. I couldn't sustain low carb for the rest of my life, but I do think it works for some people. If I were going to do it again I would only do it for short term to drop water weight for an event. Try it…

I'm a 28 year old SAHM of five all 7 and under. I just recently completed my Bachelors, I have commencement in 3 weeks, and I'm currently working towards a Masters in education. It definitely gets easier when they are in school. I have 3 in school all day, 1 does half days, and the 2 year old is with me all the time. I…

I'm 5'5.5" and to maintain at my goal weight range of 125-128 I'll need to maintain on 1900-2100 a day based off of what exercise I do or don't do for the day.

I get this too. I gained almost 4 lbs when I first started insanity this time around but it was gone by the end of two weeks and I've lost almost an additional 4 lbs since then. It's temporary, stick with it.
-
I try to stay under 2300 mg.
-
I'm in MD, close to the DE border. I'm on the recovery week of the regular insanity though.
-
I like the Jillian michaels and bob Harper DVDs. I also love the insanity ones. I'm looking into the T25 for days I'm short on time.

I'm a 28 year old mom of 5, ages 7,7,6,5, and 2. Three biological and two adopted. I stay at home but I recently just completed my Bachelors and I am working towards a Masters in education. I can definitely relate to the struggles of motherhood.

Highlighting and contouring can work wonders for slimming your face. Try that for makeup in addition to eating at a deficit for some weight loss.

You look fantastic. I am a pear shape too, so even at 136 and 5'5.5" I still have hips and thighs. I'm aiming to get a bit lower but I want to do a recomp after I get lower. I lose in my waist and upper body so easy, but losing the lower body is a struggle.

I love One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest Mrs B's Classroom is one I had to read during my freshmen year of college and it has always stuck with me. I'm currently on my way towards a Masters in Secondary Ed. Why We Can't Wait by MLK is great too.

Try changing the batteries first. Mine started to do that and after I changed the batteries it became consistent.

I would like to be leaner before recomp and have more visible ab definition. I doubt I will ever have a six pack due to loose skin but I would like more definition. So that's just the percentage I'm shooting for.

It gets better around day 4 or 5.

Hemorrhoid cream and Saran wrap. It tightens the skin but it's only temporary, as in a day only. All wraps do is remove water.

I have the first one and I love it. I can read the display with larger plates. The only time I had a hard time reading it was when I put my huge stock pot on it yesterday.

I did the cry it out method with my two oldest around 6 months. We co-slept for the first 3 months then the next 3 months I transitioned them to their crib but I would nurse them until the fell asleep. I know this is not for everyone though. I would sing to them and read them a story and then laid them down with a lullaby…

A goal weight should be whatever you're most comfortable at. I'm 5'5.5" and currently 139 but I'm aiming for 125 and 20% body fat or less.

Can you modify some of the moves that cause you the most discomfort? I have read that the insanity classes where instructors have been certified in the program are taught modification moves to help their clients.
