I do the same thing. If it doesn't taste good, I throw it out. I've made a whole dinner before, hated it, thrown it out and started over. Life is too short to eat crappy food.

You are awesome! I have done that. I LOVE peanut butter!!!!!!

I will lie to myself about what I've eaten. "You ate 6 donuts?" Nope, I ate one. I know it only hurts me, but seriously, who wants to admit they ate 6 donuts!

Very true.

I also drink my breakfast. I make a smoothie and it takes me about an hour + to finish it. It has greek yogurt, berries, almond milk and a Crystal light energy packet. Since it takes me a while to consume it, I feel satisfied and don't tend to snack.

The creamer I use is sugar free, fat free and has 15 calories per Tablespoon and I don't use a full serving.

When there's community food at work in the breakroom (donuts, pizza, etc) and someone CUTS something in half and leaves the other half sitting there! AHHHH!!!!!

I'm 5'7, have a desk job and started at 250, now down 17.8 pounds. I'm at 1200 calories. You will be suprised how quickly calories add up. Remember to log everything, including fruits and veggies. Those are good calories, but still calories.

Welcome! It looks like it's all been said above from all the wonderful and supportive people on MFP. There really is no magic to it. I wish we could all wave a wand and poof! we werent' 'poofy' anymore. But, we have to work at it, every minute of every day. I am also an emotional eater from a big food eating family. I try…

BMI calcuators: According to the calculator, I'm currently Obese/Morbidly. To fit into the "norm," I should be between 122 and 164. My lowest weight at one point after losing was 164. I was HUNGRY and super B*TCHY!!!!! I don't want that again. My goal is to be 185ish. And according to the chart, I would still be…

Yes, please share the fish recipe! I love fish!

Cheeses are good, high protein, not bad on fat content and taste good. I agree with mccindy72 on the peanut butter, nuts and other good sources of fat. If you like canned fishes and chicken, they are also easy and good for you. Maybe make a bunch of small meals/snacks and bag them for easy usage. Some of these can be made…

I have the same problem with oatmeal. For me, it doesn't have the protein I need to keep me full for the morning. I have smoothies made with greek yogurt that I drink throughout the morning. It keeps me full until lunch.

You got this! You can do it!

I'm going to try those Simply potatoes. Do you have to add seasonings to them?
