  • Been maintaining for a while, so far so good - usually jump up or down a couple of pounds but have found working out an hour a day weekdays and staying within my cals then having a cheat day at the weekend tends to work ok.. If I don't workout I struggle a lot more so always recommend keeping up the calorie burn to anyone…
  • I was bought a jawbone up for Christmas and I love it, it links with MFP as I prefer the food diary interface than that on the Up app - I like that I can log my weight exercises and put it easily into sleep mode for tracking. I get 9 days for 1 charge and is accurate within 10% or so for steps.. The Up app has some lovely…
  • Doesn't it mean waking up feeling perfectly rested? For me that changes all the time, my mother in law needs 5 hours no matter what, I could sleep forever! I love sleep and I love food.. No wonder I'm always dieting..!
  • I log all my food and exercise during the week and have 1 day at the weekend where I don't count at all and I'm a little more relaxed on the other - it works ok for me and makes me stick to my diet and work out plan in the week too

  • Thank goodness it's not just me, I had a favourite bike and didn't like using the others! Hehe... I work out at home, I do HIIT on my spinning bike and lift weights - I used to go to the gym down the road but they changed the opening time to 6.30am - which is too late as I need a good hours workout before 7..!
  • I use the Motorola Bluetooth headband. It sits in my ears comfortably but doesn't cut out all ambient noise which I prefer. You can take calls and change tracks by tapping the controls on the ear pieces and a charge lasts me a week for an hour a day
  • I've been using my fitness pal for over a year but didn't realise how big the community is.. After a week of reading posts and blogs I agree that everyone is so incredibly friendly.. Good luck everyone just starting, you made a great first "pal" :)
