There’s a lot of air in commercial bread. What is the weight of a store bought loaf vs homemade? I bet the homemade is heavier (denser).

It’s a number set by the USFDA, not MFP.

People unfriend inactive people to clean up their friends list. Some people don’t want a bunch of inactives on their friends list. I periodically unfriend those who’ve been inactive for awhile unless I’ve had a personal connection with thEm. When they come back, they can easily send me another FR. Please don’t feel bad 🤗

I did google and Dr Fung gave no results, hence my question. 🤷🏻♀️

Is Dr Fung an actual person or is this an Asian Hate slur?! >:)

You can eat whatever kind of food you want to, but you cannot eat whatever QUANTITY you want to. If your choices of the KIND of food are not nutritionally balanced (i.e. all junk food), you could bring on other issues. That's true at any "quantity".

Take shorter walks, shorter less intense workouts, and take breaks while gardening. Once you can do this 3x without too much soreness or pain, gradually increase about 5 min a week. Despite your enthusiastic spirit, it sounds like your body needs time to catch up with your mind.

See my sister who was also recently vaccinated. Maybe get a haircut. Our gym & pool Has been open since Sept. I won’t be flying or going to large events for awhile, probably another year.

Use this as an incentive to make sure your logging is as complete and accurate as possible. !🤗

The genetic rule of thumb is 30-45 min a day. For the average adult that’s 1.5-2 miles.

I’m sure it’s very hectic and stressful and hopefully rewarding, but the number of children is not directly the equivalent of a physically active lifestyle, like a construction worker or professional athlete. As said above it depends on a number of factors.

You surgery that dropped your T level. Could that have anything to do with it? Maybe check with your doctor.

I don’t have a pic handy, but I got in my first ride today since December 😎

No. It’s hard at every age. I lost more weight age 59-61 (150 lbs) than any previous time in my life. I have kept most of off for several years since. In our 60s we have the life experience to commit to reasonable goals and perhaps more discipline to stick with it. We know how to pick ourselves up after stumbling and keep…

Although a headstand requires more strength than a foot stand, I don’t see where you’re doing any “activity” that would burn significantly more calories. Someone above pointed out a headstand takes a lot of concentration, but unfortunately, concentration doesn’t burn calories.

Maybe your expectations are too high. I don’t think you’ll necessarily “have a noticeable feeling it is easier than last time.” This is pretty subjective, relied on your memory of your perceived experience, and isn’t a realistic rate of progress. One day can be better or worse than the last day for any number of reasons…

Wide brimmed hat & mosquito netting to go over it. Light weight long sleeved shirts and pants. Truth. Been there done that.

If you're within 50-100 per day you're doing great!

1. It means total 2. I’d encourage you to go to REI or similar store where you can try on shoes and get some feedback on the brands they carry.

Don’t take it as a judgement on you. He’s not a jerk and you don’t need to find a new doctor. The doctor is speaking from his experience. After I lost 150 lbs and kept it off for awhile, my doctor shared that in 30+ years of practice he’d only had 3 patients who lost a significant amount of weight and kept it off. So if a…

If you’re new to exercising or beginning a new type of exercise, it might be worthwhile to check it periodically throughout your workout. I’ve been at this long enough that I have a pretty good idea of when I’ve reached my maximum sustainable level. If I feel a need to slow down or pause, my HR on my watch inevitably shows…

Definitely see a doctor because it’s getting worse, not better. Don’t be surprised if doc wants to see you in person to do a physical exam and possibly order some imaging. I understand it’s difficult right now, but your ability to walk is worth it!

I have an elliptical made by Nordic Trak. Very solid. The pedals glide back and forth in a shallow oval. It’s not like stair climbing. Not sure if the model but it’s probably changed by now. It was $700 6-7 years ago and ordered online.

What happened to personal compatibility, intelligence, values, and communication? Those far outweigh Prince Charming looks and back when my friends and I got married, none of us had any money!

The shelves of the grocery store are full of all kinds of “butter substitutes”. What features are looking for your desired substitute to have? Taste and texture exactly like butter but no fat?🧐
