Depends on how you feel really. I never schedule rest days during the week. I hit the gym M-F and the only time I'll take a rest day is if I'm too tired and/or sore.
-
Oh you would have your mind blown if you could see how nasty ladies rooms can be. There are times where I would rather pee in a parking lot than enter a ladies room.
-
Actually women's rooms are more disgusting than the mens room.
-
Wow. Angry much? Seriously though, I agree with @EvgeniZyntx. Americans are wicked prudes when it comes to nakedness. The problem is that people have it in their minds that being naked=sex and it absolutely doesn't. God forbid you go to a beach and see someone's naked boobs. The horror!
-
^^ Yes. I don't understand why people should have to take notes and relay whatever conversation s/he had with their doctor/dietician/nutritionist.
-
Last night was boneless skinless chicken thighs with sauteed cauliflower. Tonight I'm making "unstuffed cabbage".
-
Yup. When I used to take step there were several times where I was always facing the wrong direction. After a while though I'd just laugh and wave at the class LOL.
-
Really? Because when the line to the ladies room is too long I've used the mens room -- and I'm not talking about a single-stall room either.
-
Nope. I wouldn't feel weird at all. There is nothing sexual about changing clothes so there shouldn't be a reason to be upset about it. UNLESS there were children/teenagers in there too. Then I'd have a problem with it. But adults? Nope. We really are the only country where being naked is such a taboo. It's ridiculous. The…

What about your shoulders/back/tri's? What about legs?
-
I lift 4-5 days a week (depending on whether or not I have an unplanned rest day or since it seems like we are getting a storm every week if the weather is bad). Typically my workout is 60-70 minutes. I work one muscle group/day and alternate abs and legs. This week my workout will be: Tues: Tri's Wed: Bi's/Legs Thurs:…

Agreed. It doesn't matter whether or not someone "evangelizes" what they want to do. If someone uses words phrases like "eating healthier" or "cutting down/out sugar" the mob comes out to lynch them and states how they've lost weight without eliminating anything and in fact eat cake and cookies all day long and they're…
-
I get that but what I consider to be a healthy diet might not be the same as what someone else considers healthy and because my view is different then I am therefore wrong. I've seen it a billion times on here.
-
Because "healthy" is also a label for a diet. According to all the posts that I've seen on the board any way.
-
I avoid them because they taste nasty. And I get that they've been deemed "safe" by the FDA and Cancer society but smoking was deemed to be perfectly fine once. Look what happened with that.
-
Um, no. The FDA doesn't regulate vitamins which is why they have their reports on how "dangerous" they are. They don't have any stake in the vitamin market and are trying hard to get in by regulating things like fish oil because you could "over dose" on it. If they did have their hand in the vitamin industry every single…

Nope. I actually enjoy grocery shopping! Sure the sweets look tempting but I am able to walk right by them without feeling the need to put them in my cart. Plus I perimeter shop so that saves me from having to go down the pre-packaged food aisles.
-
I lift because I like it. Not everyone does though. I have a friend who does P90X because she doesn't like lifting weights. No matter how many benefits there are it's all about personal preference.
-
I cut out drinking during the week. I relegate drinking to the weekend -- unless there is an event like the wine dinners once a month or a particularly hectic day. I found that even if I tried to keep it in my calorie range I still went over mostly because wine has a lot of calories. I also found when I was drinking more…

I used to eat Friendship brand until my grocery store stopped selling it. :(
-
M-F: Lift weights Mon/Tues Thurs/Fri: DDP yoga Wednesday is supposed to be cardio day
-
When I buy it from the store I buy Daisy 2% brand. It doesn't have added anything in it. When I get my raw milk I make my own.
-
Uh yeah. The combo doesn't even sound good!

I wanted to make ketchup this year when we had our garden but it's not something we use all the time. Based on all the GMO's and the stuff that's added to food (sugars, HFCS, etc) I prefer to grow/can/freeze my own foods now. My mother calls my husband and I "gentlemen farmers"
-
Really? I wonder if it would work for the glue from false eyelashes. That is a beast to get off sometimes.
-
While I agree for the most part I would like to know though why people are slammed when they want to eliminate things like gluten or sugar when they do feel negative from ingesting it. I've been doing my best to cut out gluten from my diet due to the fact that I feel like crap and my stomach gets wonky when I have it. I…
-
Fine but it seems that someone can't simply come on here asking advice on how to cut down on something -- be it sugar, bread, gluten -- without all the "if you don't have a medical reason don't do it!" and other snark that inevitably follows. It's a simple question and there are people who have answered that have cut down…

Most of them are all HFCS and disgustingly sweet. OT: When I was in Niagra falls I found it very interesting that the Heinz ketchup in Canada was a LOT sweeter than the ketchup in the states. I almost couldn't eat my eggs after I put it on. It was disgusting.
-
OP: If you feel that cutting out sugar is what you need to do then do it. While I will eat fruit and add it to my smoothies, I am aware of the added sugar in my packaged foods when and if I buy them and for the most part I opt to not buy those items (I'm mainly a perimeter shopper). I also don't eat breads and pastas as it…

If I am outside shoveling 2+ feet of snow consistently for 2 hours you bet I'm going to count those calories as being burned. Perhaps if the snow was made out of Fairy Dust and it weighed nothing then I could see not counting it but when it feels like I am shoveling bricks and I'm sore the next day then yeah. I'm pretty…
