Thanks for the feedback. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who had more success weighing in daily. There's more frustration that way for sure as the scale tends to bounce around but when I went to weekly weigh-ins, I'd gain weight and not know it until I was a few pounds up! I like the suggestion of changing to a 1/2…

Very helpful. Thank you!

So helpful! I'm going to look into these websites. Thank you for the input

I eat LOTS of protein: eggs egg whites (to keep cholesterol low) ground turkey, chicken breasts, lean steaks, pork loins, trimmed pork chops....I weigh EVERYTHING. I make sure to include loads of fiber: sweet potato, broccoli, whole wheats, brown rice, quinoa, etc. green vegetables(fresh). I've screwed up, got off track…

So to update, I bumped my goals to maintenance from a two lb a week loss and I gained 5 pounds in a week? Omg I'm super stressed I don't want to go back to where I was. So I bumped it to a one pound a week loss and my weight is staying the same. But will I really be limited to 1500 calories a day in order to maintain?!?…

It's easier to smile when I have the energy to do so. Thanks you guys

Great job! I also had problems with pics in the app. I couldn't post them in my initial post but put them in a comment after I posted it.

Haven't read all the replies, but the fact that you had such great weight loss is something to be proud of! Every time I see someone over weight running or in the gym or eating healthy I want to run up and cheer them on! You are not your weight. You are beautiful in your before and after pics. Anyone worth dating should…

Yes. But not because I'm skinnier. Because I have more energy and working out is now a hobby. I feel like my changes have rubbed off on my family too and now they eat healthier and that makes me happy because my family is everything to me.

You are awesome. Thanks for your story

Weight loss is all about your diet. I lift and I'm losing weight because I'm on a calorie deficit. I've begun measuring my body fat % every couple weeks for more accurate tracking of my progress as muscle gain has slowed down my loss. However, I'm much happier with my body now that I'm focusing on strength rather than how…

Thank you SO much. I'm glad to see that tall women have such a wide range of healthy goals. I don't want to feel to skinny but would like a muscular build. I think I can maintain healthy weight of 160. I'm 172 now.

Thank you! I was not aware of a search option! Awesome ideas! I've dropped a little more. Down 75 lbs this week!
-
Of course you can do it! I've failed by giving up so many times! It wasn't until I determined that no matter how many off days I had, I could still continue, and got back on track, that I found my own success! If I can you can!

Thank you all for the sweet comments. For those asking, I am 6'0". My sagging skin has been an issue particularly on my arms, glutes and abs. I am combating the skin issue by lifting heavy and a skin cream I bought that Nivea makes. I use it twice a day when I wake up and at bed and have noticed it firming up my skin.…

I used to do abs once or twice a week. Now I do them about every other day or so. That, coupled with regular cardio and compound exercises, such as deadlifts that work your core, helped me get rid of that jiggly belly you see in the first picture!
-
Thanks guys. I am enjoying my last two weeks of being 29 (lol) and I am 6'00'. I began weight training in December. I lift heavy, legs twice a week and abs about every other day coupled usually with another muscle group.
-
Leg pressed 215! When I was heavy, I couldn't leg press HALF that. (Squats make my already bad knees worse so press works best for me)

You are doing awesome! You look great

Great job!!! Happy summer!

Just think, at this rate, you'll be there before summer is over! Keep it up!

I feel the same way you do. Im no longer considered overweight but I would like to get away from the borderline weight were I may go back and forth between "overweight" and "healthy". I think I'm going to aim for the 160s then just continue at maitenance and toning. Thanks!
-
Wow! You are awesome...18.7%!

Thanks so much! This puts it in the scale I needed! I thought the machines were more accurate than the calipers though? But it seems I'm wrong. Where would I find those? (Guess I should google it)
-
That's awesome! Glad to see I'm not the only female giving up on the scale and focusing on body fat %. You've done well to get to 25% from nearly 50! I began at 42% and I'm at 28.8.

Man, I want your workout routine! I'm 60 lbs down right now and working on toning and building lean muscle. My husband thinks I've lost my mind....whatever, it's my journey. My regimen seems a little disorganized though. I saw your profile and you are an inspiration!

Great job! I started out similar. 6'00 with a SW of 250 and a CW OF 190. I began in October. I had begun to think I couldn't get past this 190 as the scales seemed to sway between 188 and 192 lately so it's motivation to see someone my height go so far! Great job!
