I signed up for the on demand. I like the variety. I'm in week two of Hammer and Chisel. I really am enjoying it. Workouts are 30-45min and there is always a person doing modifications. I have an old knee injury, so I wear a brace. You don't need a ton of equipment. Mat, dumbbells and an exercise ball or bench. I workout…

I just wanted to say thank you for starting this. A knee injury put me in a tailspin for a few years, but I'm one month into getting "me" back. Turning 49 in January. Very motivated to be my fittest ever before 50.

I found the IIFYM site helpful.

I use Vega Protein and Greens. I have both chocolate and vanilla. You can get them on Amazon or the Vanilla at Costco. Don't buy at Whole Foods... the price is crazy! I'm not a vegetarian, but I liked the macros and the flavor is decent.

Great work! Your smile says it all!

Hi all! I have just started my journey... again. Was in good shape in my 30s and early 40s; running, weights, yoga and was doing Crossfit and loved it. I dislocated my knee four years ago and have been struggling ever since. I've gained about 35lbs and have pretty much lost all fitness. I'm on Day 11 of logging food and…

So sorry that all of you are going through this. Sending healing thoughts your way for a safe surgery and recovery. ❤️

My doctor recommended working out, then taking my medication, because it was a stimulant. Different medication then yours, but it was for ADD. My daughter; same thing. Exercise first, then meds after hr is back to normal resting heart rate. But safest to check with your doctor.

You look great! Your smile says it all! I started keto just 10 days ago. I've lost 6lbs. I feel really great. My macros are similar to yours. I really love ruledme.com for recipes. I have also added FitnessBlender workouts. They are free and can be done at home. Congratulations!

What an achievement! Of course you look amazing, but your dedication is what inspires me! Happy anniversary! :)

You can lose, although it might take more work. I had my thyroid removed because of the big C. The first year was tough because my medicine had to be adjusted several times before I found the right level. I gained weight and had no energy to exercise- needing 14 hours of sleep. I have found success doing the following: 1.…

Incredible! Now, smile, because you look fabulous!

Moyer566- thanks! Aerial yoga looks to be fun!

Update: I bought the Woss. Works great! Easy to put together. For anyone looking for a great Christmas gift, this is a great alternative to the more expensive trainer.

I'm in. Last month worked really well for me. Name: Renee Age: 46 Height: 5'4" Start weight: 163.3 lbs (Dec. 1) Goal weight: 155 lbs ( Jan. 1) December 1st: 163.3lbs December 8th: December 15th: December 22nd: December 29th: 1st January: Weight loss/gain this week: Weight loss/gain this month: Successes/struggles: I lost…

You look great! Keep it up!

Just to add... I have no thyroid, due to the big C. I found the first year while adjusting meds the most challenging. Until your levels are normal/ your meds are dialed in, you are going to feel crummy and weight loss difficult because your metabolism is wonky. That being said, getting enough sleep, some moderate exercise…

Thank you!

I forgot to mention: there are 3 phases, 9 stages total. About halfway at Stage 5 ( I think), they add a C workout into rotation. You definitely need a barbell at some point- when you max out on your dumbbell weight. After you finish each stage, they have you do a "special" workout.

Update; I did the first workout today. Stage 1 workout A. Took a bit longer than anticipated. Mostly due to my kids being home on holiday, dogs, etc. ( lol, you get the idea). Including warm up, main workout, and the interval work at the end- about an hour and twenty minutes. I did the full 6 cycles of interval work; that…

That is a brutal schedule! I don't do well with the flip/flop scheduling. Feel free to add me
