Okay, I just want to thank everyone who participated in this highly amusing post, even though that was not OPs intent. :D

I'm reading it now. I'm going to start the program tomorrow. It seems simpler than NROLFW, which I found hard to figure out- by that I mean the order of exercises, etc. I also have to use alternatives because I won't have my pull-up bar installed until next week and I don't have a barbell yet. I have the kindle version,…

I worked nights for years! Just switched to swing shift. I always brought my food, made sure it was healthy. I was less likely to eat junk; carb cravings normal when tired. Lots of water was vital. The big challenge was exercise; and of course the out of control cortisol from stress ( up for 24 hrs and the general stress…

Nomnompaleo.com and Well Fed cookbook are great. Use them frequently, although I'm no longer strict paleo.

Sorry, didn't complete post...

My favorite holiday!!!! The one thing I make yearly by hubby request is oyster dressing. It's a meal in itself ( just know you are throwing the calorie count out the window!)

I've discovered a great tea; celestial seasonings makes it- Bengal Spice. I make a large cup (bowl) ;) and sip slowly. I use two tea bags. I drink this when I have sweet/snack cravings. No calories, no caffeine. Usually I drink it at night when I'm feeling like snacking. Also 10 min of stretching/walking also works for me.

A good gym bag will usually have a separate compartment for wet items... I would also wrap them in a plastic bag. You can find a good selection on Amazon. I just changed my work schedule and now have to get up very early, hit the gym and go directly to work.

You look great! Strong work!

I'm 46, and am on just a tick under 1500 cal/d to lose 1.5lbs/wk. So far after 15 days I've lost 7lbs, but 4lbs I'm counting as water weight.... Still, it's working. I think 1200 is too low (at least for me). I'm only working out 2-3 days a week to start for 30-40min. Will add a day every two weeks until I'm at 5-6d/wk. I…

Hi there! I'm going to lose 40lbs as well. I am a nurse (17+ years), mother of three, wife and work full time. I can say that gaining weight in nursing school is pretty common, given the hectic schedule . You're making a great start by being here!

Adding to above... GW is 135 from CW of 175. :/

Hi there! I just wanted to share; I have two children who were on Risperdal for different reasons and both gained weight and kept in on. When they went off Risperdal, the weight just "fell off". The pediatrician said to expect weight gain as a side effect.
