Hello OP, I'm on the 1250 calories a day diet also. I find it rather easy after adding calories from a workout, but even just 1250 calories is quite simple too using low calorie, high protein foods such as egg whites and tuna. Just started 5 days ago, and I've already lost 2lbs, and I was set for only 2lbs/week.

What did the doctor tell you for dos and do nots, as well as recovery time? If you are allowed to be active on that foot, just wear flip flops to the gym. Cycle machines and ellipticals really don't require any special shoes. Also lifting weights while on benches, and using weight machines would be healthy too.

Well whatever the case may be, the weight is appearing lower. I'm a happy man, and I'm feeling good. No headaches yet, my knees are feeling stronger, and I've got more energy.

nope. I'm too lazy, broke, and unable to cook to follow someone else's premade meal plan. I'm just doing my calorie counting and 1 scoop of protein after my workout, so I can relax instead of cooking something.
