How many onset sleep REMs did you have in your study? Many years ago they first thought sleep apnea was why I had so many arousals but when I did another sleep study with CPAP machine they realized that didn't help; so although I still have mild sleep apnea, it wasn't breathing obstructions that caused the arousals. I also…

I have both as well. My headaches got better with my improved medication regimen. I gained about that much weight in a few months. I tend to gain around that much every time I get too busy to work out, no matter how well I eat. (But i Have to eat clean or I gain even more!) I recommend getting into a workout routine that…

I have it and my recommendation is to find a time that works for you. For me it's early in the morning because it forces me to do it because I know (mentally) I have to start my workout at a certain time in order to finish in time to get ready for work. I also find it helps me gain more energy with I workout in the…

I have narcolepsy/IH so I understand how it feels to be exhausted allllll the time. You just have to figure out what workouts get you energized and what time of day is best for you. I found that working out when I wake up works best for me because I'm too exhausted by the end of the day. The more you work out the more…

I have idiopathic hypersomnia with mild sleep apnea. (At one time they diagnosed me with narcolepsy but that's a whole other story). It's been soooo hard to lose weight for me. In addition to my busy schedule, I have a very difficult time trying to get enough energy to work out. For awhile I found that my work outs are…

I would try changing the time you work out. Also try melatonin

I love egg whites So egg whites with light wheat toast or light wheat english muffin You can add veggies (i.e. peppers, onions, and tomatoes) to that and fat free sliced cheese or can do an egg white omelete thin wheat bagel with fat free cream cheese (I actually like the weight watchers whipped cream cheese) luna protein…

Does anyone have a calendar they can share for their hybrid? Or how do you guys go about it? I'm trying to figure out how to combine insanity and p90x. Thanks!
-
Hi! Out of all three options which one would you say is the best, or you think you got the most results from? I did p90x a long time ago but didn't finish the 90 days. I insanity a few months ago and only did like 47 days :/. I kept letting a lot of life events get in the way, which is my goal to not let that happen any…

I wish I got those results!! I got up to Day 40 and only saw a little difference. I didn't do their eating plan but targeted for 1200 calories and small meals every 3 hours. I decided few days ago I was going to try again and hope for better results and finish it so i'm on day 4 now.

I would say making deserts that are lower in fat... so that you do still have something to satisfy your sweet tooth instead of just not eating anything good during the holidays at all. Try diet cookbooks like Hungry Girl.

I have yet to be on a challenge here so i'm in! My birthday is in a month as well so I need double the motivation to get through and Thanksgiving!

I do agree that obviously foods that are unhealthy will have higher sodium. However, there are a lot of things that most people wouldn't think to consider as "unhealthy" but will still have a lot of sodium, like hot sauce, ham, etc. Although since we all are on diets and probably research a lot of this information, the…

I loved this article because i just ate Prego's three cheese sauce last night because it was quick, even though I know I need to just make more time to cook things from scratch. (Sidenote: I don't know how to make pasta sauce and don't like eggplant so if you have any other recipes for it please send it my way!) But I am…

Where can I find the insanity p90x hybrid worksheets? thanks!

Hey, Like everyone else said it's hard to know without seeing your food and exercise dairy but here are some things you may or may not have thought about. (no particular order, just writing as they come to my head). 1. Eat 5 small meals a day. Even though it is important to stay under your calorie limit, you should be…

I am currently doing insanity (just finished the first 30 days) and am wondering myself what to do next: insanity, p90x or the hybrid. I am particularly curious about the hybrid. Does anyone have experience doing all three?

Does anyone find that they have to go by the recommended calendar/schedule or would it still work to just throw in some of the videos here and there? I am currently doing insanity but am afraid that my butt is getting flatter so I would like to lift it but I don't have time to fully commit to both programs so I've been…
